The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Take jumped down the slope and ambushed Kipp from behind by throwing his arm over Kipps face so he got the full experience of Take’s underarm stench. He erupted in cackling laughter, “What’d you say? You wanted to smell my armpits?” he jeered as if he was repeating Kipp’s false request. He trapped the poor Kipp for a good few seconds before releasing him, “Looks like you really need a bath now” he teased.

The cascading rocks behind him told him Take was following. Kipp smiled to himself knowing he probably had some kind of comeback.

He gulped a frantic breath as a hand wrapped around his chin forcing his face up. He struggled against it, twisting and pulling at its arms to try to get it off. Take's triumphant laughter broke though his panic, it wasn't a we-sa that had grabbed him, it was Take. His panic quickly turned to annoyance, both at Take for managing to scare him, and himself for not being able to get out of Take's hold. “What’d you say? You wanted to smell my armpits?”

"Agh, get off!" He yelled twisting himself around in a circle and ducking out of his grip. Kipp scowled up at Take's proud grin. “Looks like you really need a bath now.”

"Yeah." He said dryly, trying to smile. He knew Take was just playing around. He'd been the one to start it. He had no right to get angry about it. Or what ever this was. He wrapped his hands around his elbows and turned to keep walking. Pulling his wings forward around his arms protectively. He hoped Take would just think he was cold, and not realize how badly he'd freaked him out.

(Ehh good enough I guess. I'm go bed. :p )

Rylie zoomed down the hill at breakneck speed, exhibiting a feline grace normally only observed at 4 AM. A prrrt emerged from his lips. As his fur whipped Kyle’s face, the terrified man sunk deep within, hopeful that he wouldn’t tumble to the rocks beside or careen over a small cliff.
At the bottom, Rylie landed lightly on a small boulder.
“I could have been killed!” Kyle accused. “You could have been killed!”
Rylie mewed. I know my body, he thought. If Kyle’s gripping fear wasn’t enough to prevent him from flying off, of course he would be more gentle.

Cam picked and scrabbled her way down the hill. Her descent was far more careful, and graceless, than Rylie’s.

Korim went down very slowly, cradling the horn in his hands.

Kevin watched her with interest, careful not to interrupt her words. “Yeah, they do,” he said after she finished, absentmindedly twirling the ring on his neck. He blinked, his eyes flicking back to hers. He noticed her eyes were still the bright golden color they had turned when she and Take fought, and wondered if they normally stayed like that for so long.
“How long have you two been together?”
Blair was unaware of just how golden her eyes were, having pushed the idea of the full moon to the back of her mind when Kevin had approached her. "Since October," she answered. "So not a very long time, but it's kind of complicated." She gave a small laugh, even though it wasn't actually funny. "You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you."

Kevin raised an eyebrow, the corner of his lips turning upwards. “October? I wouldn’t have guessed that. I would’ve said a few years,” he said, glancing over his shoulder at Take. Although for all he knew, they could’ve been close friends for years, and only now started dating.

As the group grew closer to the settlement, Hana couldn’t help but observe the buildings and homes that were constructed on the rocks of the mountain. There was hardly any vegetation, but it seemed they had some farmland from what she could see from afar. The way this civilization was structured reminded her of ancient sites such as Machu Picchu and the Takeda Castle Ruins that were built up at high elevations. Although the Rugæ were thriving, the site wasn’t abandoned or lost to time. From what she assumed, these people were hunters since Korim mentioned them probably having unicorn horns of their own. They could easily turn on the group and hunt them instead. Which she didn’t want to think about at all. We have to stay on their good side if they even let us in.

Blair didn't let herself follow his gaze, keeping her eyes on the path ahead. "No, only a few months. Kind of seems like it's been a while, but it hasn't." She fell silent for a moment, an uncomfortable silence falling between them until she spoke again. "Take and I are supposed to be soulmates." She nearly laughed, because saying it out loud sounded really stupid to her. "I know, sound crazy. I thought so too, when I first found out. But me being a...a werewolf, lead to him being my 'soulmate'. I guess that explains why we're so close, even though we've only known each other for a few months." She didn't know why she was telling him. She probably should have just shut up, and she probably sounded stupid. But Kevin didn't seem like someone to quick to judge, so she just hoped she didn't sound too crazy.

Kevin gave a slow nod, glancing around him as he walked. “Honestly, that makes sense,” he said truthfully. He wasn’t too familiar with werewolves, but them having soulmates sounded reasonable to him. “No, you don’t sound crazy to me. Especially after the past few days. Compared to other worlds, soulmates sounds very mild.”

"I suppose you're right, it's not all that shocking compared to an entirely different universe with dragons and manticores." Blair laughed softly at the comparison of the two, and thinking about it, soulmates wasn't all that crazy. She glanced at him, her brain processing he had actually spoken another language at first. She was used to broken English, so she wasn't all surprised, but she wasn't familiar with the language he had spoke with only one word. "What language was that? I don't think I've heard it before."

A confused look crossed over Kevin’s face, unaware he spoke anything but English. He knew he sometimes mixed up languages, but he was sure he got it right this time.
He mentally reviewed what he said, in an attempt to find out what was in Russian. Chestno, that makes sense.
Oh, chestno. Honestly.

He shook his head, giving Blair an apologetic look. “Sorry, my English isn’t good.” He said. As she asked what language he spoke, he took a moment to gather his words, taking extra caution to only use English. “Russian. I’m from Russia,” he answered, as if it wasn’t obvious from his broken English and heavy accent.
“I’ve heard you speaking to your dog in something that doesn’t sound like English. She’s multilingual?”
