The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Hana followed behind the group, noticing the small homes infused with the hills that they walked through. They were quite odd, with the shape and size of the doors, but it was something different. When the group went ahead and started talking about bunnies and Hobbits, she stopped hearing in on the conversation. It was a topic she was unfamiliar with, even though she has heard of Lord of The Rings being mentioned before, she knew nothing about it. She continued walking a bit, humming a small tune to herself as she pulled out the carved wooden fox from the pocket of her jacket. Which was surprisingly still there after all this time. She rolled the little figure in her palm, fingers tracing the edges of its features patiently waiting for the group to move on.

“No way you’re Chion!” Noah shouted. He then asked a very loud question. “What’s a mimic?”

A dude with white hair and skin and a frosty particle effect swirling around him was flanked by another, seemingly ordinary brown-haired guy. What wasn’t normal was the seemingly permanent grin the man carried.
The ice dude launched a bolt of ice at Take and turned him into Frozen Taco without a fight, because let’s be honest, these Borealans could be OP.
Frozen Taco began to unthaw immediately-excuse my Wisconsin- due to his awesome hotness. However, ordinary brown-haired guy picked him up and carried him using what the uneducated people of this world would call the fireman’s carry, but we are among the enlightened, and know that it should only be referred to as the bridal carry.
Unfortunately, Taco was melting and slippery, and the ice had added a great deal of weight to him. Smile Guy was losing his grip on Take. It became clear that the only way to move him would be to slide him, which turned out to be as easy as a hockey puck over ice.
“Something must be done about him,” Icy Brooding Dude said, his voice as full as ice as an iceberg riding a glacier into Lake Superior.
Thus, Taco slid right in temporary confinement.
Take had little time to react to being frozen, but when he was, he still had complete consciousness and was violently cursing out the two men in his head, forcing himself to heat up like an intense furnace. By the time he was slid into temporary confinement, he was mostly unfrozen and when the solid metal door was shut and locked, he slammed a fiery fist into it. Which created a small indentation of his knuckles. This type of confinement was different, instead of a cell that held bars that he could see through, he was in a closet-like space with stone walls and the door right in front of him. He shoved his face up to the small window, trying to peer through and locate what part of the Dakrium he was in. Unfortunately, one of the men slammed the window shut, leaving him blind to what was outside. Take forced out a growl and verbally yelled out the curses he wasn’t able to earlier. Now that the ice had melted off, his clothes were soaked, and was left standing in a puddle, he took the bag of dust from his pocket that was starting to clump together and tossed it into a corner of the room. Along with his already dead and shattered phone that he kept solely because of Blair’s picture on his lock screen, but when its battery was drained, he couldn’t look at it anymore.

Take tried yelling out the kids names and banging on the door, hoping they would hear that he found a way out as well, but his shouts were absorbed by the confined space. Futile now that he was basically talking to himself.

(Sorry i've been super busy the last few days.)

“Nope” Fred huffed

“Wait. You talk?! We were stuck in a cell together for ages and you never once spoke to me” Fred stared at Chion.

The five minutes remaining bell sounded before Kipp said anything more.

"Take said he had an idea." He said tentatively, "Though he didn't say what it was. Ashira said she could try to find someone to help smuggle the younger kids out. With her ability to read minds she should be able to read their intentions. That's kind of a back up plan to what ever Take's doing. She also said we should wait. And pretend we've given up on trying to get out so we draw less attention to ourselves." Kipp wasn't sure if Fred would agree with what everyone else was already planning but it would be better if everyone was on the same page instead of trying to come up with their own separate plans. He took a small breath looking to the side as he tried to come up with an idea of his own. "Take was right, running blindly isn't going to work. We need to know where we're going." Kipp picked at the chipped edge of his wooden bowl, running his finger over the jagged gap frowning as he contemplated how to word his next sentence.
"I, could-" he was interruped by Fred yelling at Chion, and looked up through his brows at where she had been sitting. There was now a brown haired brown eyed boy sitting across from his with a long scrap of fabric wrapped over his head and around his mouth. His pointy nose stuck out over the wrap with pale freckles scattered over it.

(No italics so i'll do this insetead:)
~That isn't Chion.~ He thought in alarm, even with the disguise he recognized the boy who had brought them here. Who could understand and speak English. ~Did he hear everything i just said!?~ He stared wide eyed at the boy clamping his mouth tightly shut.

“No way you’re Chion!” Noah shouted. He then asked a very loud question. “What’s a mimic?”

"Shh." She said raising a finger to her hidden mouth. "He might hear you." She said watching the boy she'd copied to see if he reacted to Noah's announcment of her powers.

She flinched at Fred's volume, waving her hands in front of her to signal him to quiet down. She'd tried to show Torin that she was changing so this wouldn't happen, but he'd been distracted and left. She didn't want this much attention being drawn to her. "I was talking to you." She replied with a annoyed tone. "You just didnt understand what i was saying." She thought back to what they had been saying in the cell hoping she could finally understand, but the linguist powers didn't seem to work for things that had already happened, while she didnt have those powers.
"The We-sa form could have been useful, but i needed to understand you. And it's not exactly like the we-sa could fly around down here, the tunnels are pretty tight." She shrugged. Leaving her explanation for why she'd given up a stronger form at that.

Noting Kipp's suspicious stare she decided it was probably best to explain her powers. Fred understood, but Noah and Kipp didn't seem to recognize her.

"I'm a mimic, I can take on the form of any living thing i touch. It will also give me their powers if they have any. I can only store one form at a time though." She said furrowing a brow, "It makes escaping a bit more difficult. If you need me to get a new form to get out of here, i'm not going to be able to reuse this form to talk to you again."

---

Kipp continued to watch him/her suspiciously. It was obviously that other boy that sat infront of him, he wasn't going to go believing him blindly. Trusting what ever he said.

“You can... you’re...” Noah’s jaw dropped. “That’s so cool! And SO UNFAIR. You get the powers of the person too?” When he looked closer, he realized it was Chion, wearing the same clothes she had arrived in. “You look silly...” he said. “A boy wearing girl’s clothes...”

Fred frowned, “okay” he said a little more quietly “then we need a plan”

“What? Bunnies live underground, and...” he trailed off, deciding it was pointless. “Oh, that makes sense. I think I’ve actually heard about that before. I think my sister watches those things, but I might be confused with something else.” Kevin smiled, happy to see Lilith laugh.
"You're telling me I'm the only one who read those books? You guys are really missing out. The books are way better than the movies." Cam almost pouted at the haters, but the little bird on the door was just too cute to even try to wipe her smile off her face.
Admittedly, Kyle hadn't seen either the movies or the books, so he knew very little about them. He couldn't sit still for a minute, let alone a single one of the many LOTR and Hobbit movies. (Italics isn't working today) and was intimidated by the idea of reading a book larger than himself. He decided to sit this conversation out.
"No, I'm afraid it's just a couple of dwarves, the Muchons," Korim said. "They did adopt the style of housing found in the Shire, very pleasant little homes. A movie? Should I even ask what that is?" These strangers made a lot of odd references that he couldn't begin to comprehend.
"It's a photo story... sorta," Cam said, animating it with her hands. "Lilith?" She asked, turning to the zombie looking girl. Maybe you could show him a video?"
"Now I'm more confused. What does a 'video' have to do with a 'movie?'" Korim asked.
"Humanoid bunny?" That led Aella to be even more confused then before. "Bunny...like a...?" She raised her hands to the side of her head, wiggling two fingers from each hand in a poor repersentation of a rabbit. She knew what it was, vaguely, but she had never seen one, and trying to imagine a humanoid rabbit was proving difficult, and what her mind decided to come up with was something rather nightmareish.

"Like little man?" Aella pointed at Kyle, still confused. "Fictional? Like a story book?"
"Short people. Bigger then Kyle, but still small. Yes, a story book." Blair answered, seeming annoyed even by the small question.

"I don't even know what that book is." Aella frowned deeply, figuring she had missed something incredibly important that she should have read. "And I don't think I've ever seen a movie." She shrugged, speaking to herself for the most part. "Video." She looked at Korim suddenly. At least she knew what that was. "It's like a memory. But a trapped memory that you can watch over and over. People trap them in things called phones and cameras, I'm not sure how...but they do. A movie is kind of like that, I think...but like telling a story with real people. I'm pretty sure anyway."
Kevin shrugged. “I’m too busy to read stuff, and I don’t have any sort of electronic connection where I live.” He replied. He looked down at Korim. “A dwarf, eh? I think human bunnies would be funnier.” He said.

Kevin looked back at Aella, holding in laughter at her strange attempt to signal bunny. “Yeah, yeah, a bunny. Or a rabbit. Or a hare. You people have a lot of words for it.” Kevin said.
Lilith was still grinning, giving Cam a small shrug. "I guess so. I mean to, I just... Have never gotten around to it." She paused when she asked about showing Korim a video. "On what? I don't have any signal on my phone, and I've never taken videos on my camera before. Never been into cinematography, just photography." She murmured.
She looked over at Aella, blinking. She doesn't know what a book is? "A book is like a movie but written down, and if it's a story-like book you imagine it in your head as you read what happens. Some have pictures. As for other books, they usually give you information on how to do stuff." She said, nodding to the rest of her words. "Yeah, Korim, I think she explained it pretty well. A movie is a story about people that you watch."

"I know what a book is." Aella scoffed, eyeing the girl that appeared exhausted. "Just not that book. The...Hobbit, or whatever its called."

"O-- Oh." Lilith mumbled, blushing a little. What's wrong with me? I actually thought she didn't know what a book is? "I uh, misheard you. Sorry." She laughed, shaking her head. "Jeez, after this I really think I need my hearing checked. Must've been the darn howling wolves."

“You can... you’re...” Noah’s jaw dropped. “That’s so cool! And SO UNFAIR. You get the powers of the person too?” When he looked closer, he realized it was Chion, wearing the same clothes she had arrived in. “You look silly...” he said. “A boy wearing girl’s clothes...”

"Oh?" Chion looked down at her outfit, frowning at the parts that were too tight and other parts too loose on her now larger frame. "Huh. I could take my shirt off I suppose?" She thought aloud trying to solve the near irrelevant problem. Was there really going to be anybody looking at her clothes?

Fred frowned, “okay” he said a little more quietly “then we need a plan”

Kipp shook his head dismissing the strange child, he hadn't even noticed his -or was it her?- clothes had been the same as Chion's.

He turned his attention back to Fred. "I'm not worried about getting myself caught again. If you need to know where the tunnels lead to make a plan, I can sneak off and explore a bit. Or, I could sneak weapons back after my shift." He suggested, he didn't want to be the one in charge of making the plan this time. But he wanted to help any way that he could.

“Hmmm let’s sit down and talk about this”
