She gave a tired smiled back. “Here we go” she said forcing her power through her hands to teleport the group.
Kevin looked around, doing a mental headcount of everyone. It looked like everyone except for the person -Blair, he heard someone call her- was there.
This was a bad idea, he thought, distractedly tugging at his necklace.
Aria’s already tired and we still aren’t close.
He looked up at the sky with a frown, worry tugging at his stomach as the sun dipped below the horizon. They had survived the night before, but Kevin doubted they would have the same luck.
He reached up, pulling the gun off of his back. He hated having limited ammo, and once he ran out they were most likely screwed. Sure, there were powerful people in the group, but even with the gun they almost died. Without it...
Kevin shook the thought from his head. They would make it through, no matter what. They were no longer in the forest, so hopefully the amount of creatures would be smaller.
“We need to keep walking. Aria can’t teleport us again, and it was stupid that I thought that would be a smart idea.” Kevin said, carefully brushing to the front of the group to continue walking, his hands glowing green.
