The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

She gave a tired smiled back. “Here we go” she said forcing her power through her hands to teleport the group.

Kevin looked around, doing a mental headcount of everyone. It looked like everyone except for the person -Blair, he heard someone call her- was there.
This was a bad idea, he thought, distractedly tugging at his necklace.
Aria’s already tired and we still aren’t close.
He looked up at the sky with a frown, worry tugging at his stomach as the sun dipped below the horizon. They had survived the night before, but Kevin doubted they would have the same luck.
He reached up, pulling the gun off of his back. He hated having limited ammo, and once he ran out they were most likely screwed. Sure, there were powerful people in the group, but even with the gun they almost died. Without it...
Kevin shook the thought from his head. They would make it through, no matter what. They were no longer in the forest, so hopefully the amount of creatures would be smaller.
“We need to keep walking. Aria can’t teleport us again, and it was stupid that I thought that would be a smart idea.” Kevin said, carefully brushing to the front of the group to continue walking, his hands glowing green.

Take couldn’t keep fighting on anymore. His body was slowly shutting down on him as he knocked out his last guard, and suddenly he was overwhelmed by two medium built men. They weren’t as strong or hefty as the ones he brought down before, but apparently Take had become weak enough that they could apprehend him easily. They rushed in and slammed Take up against the wall, one kicking him in the stomach and the other slamming a fist into his jaw. Take winced and choked out, feeling the air escape his lungs. They let him collapse to his knees before grabbing both of Takes arms and twisting them behind his back, one forcing his weight on him to prevent him from getting back up.

Take felt numb to it all, his eye sight was blurred and it faded in and out as he laid on the ground, his face pushed up against it and unable to move anymore. He started to hyperventilate, I have to keep.. fighting.. they’re.. going to catch the kids..
The guard that restrained him looked down at Take angrily, and grabbed a handful of his shabbily cut hair, yelling at him in Portsmoth to calm his breathing, but it was no use until he passed out.

Both guards looked at one another, unsure if he was dead until they sat Take up against the wall, seeing the rise and fall of his chest. Still breathing.

More guards joined them, relief washing over them when they saw that the three-eyed man had finally been taken down. They started tending to the wounded and breaching the transformation room at last. A lanky guard came to the masked mans side, who was hidden underneath some junk and urgently cleared it away. “Are you okay? We’ve restrained the subject, but some of the children were able to flee because of his actions.
“I’m fine,” he growled.
“Take him to a more confining place, his deeds will not go unpunished.” he wrung his gloved hands and watched the men, waiting. “I want Trintan with me this time, in case things go awry. He’s not as worthless as the rest of you.” Trintan, the ice block making guy, would keep things under control. “I’m surprised you didn’t have him with you.”
What happened here?” a deep, terrible voice echoed through the halls. It was more gravel than human, for indeed, it was an ogre, and those are mostly stone.
It was actually the ogre, the one in charge.
You let some kids escape? How many of you were there, and how many of them? Do we have any we-sa here? If so sic em’ after them! And follow them!”
At least, that was the gist of what he said. There was a whole lot more growling and saying not-very-nice things.
“Only one we-sa right now. It just came in, with a Lycan. We’ll get him right away,” a guard said, scrambling off.

Kipp tucked his arms under Noah's legs, to support his weight as he stood. The kids was right he really wasn't that heavy, and it would be a lot easier to carry him on his back than it was to carry Emma in his arms.

"Fred, I want you behind me, and Ashira behind you. Ashira, you should be able to use my thoughts to see, right? Or does it work like that?" He realized that he hadn't figured out, exactly how her powers worked yet. Or maybe he had and just didn't remember.

Seina smiled, glad that at least one of the kids would understand her. "I'm sorry I don't have any water. I think we're headed to a river though." She said her voice kind and gentle. She put a hand on his cheek wiping off a black smudge with her thumb. "I'll carry you when we start going again ok."

She got up and offered food to the other two boys, and gave the Tregdar a pat on it's flat head, eliciting an appreciative snort from the creature.

-----

Chion gave the girl a dirty look for patting her head.
"Did you just PAT me?" It was bad enough being stuck like this. Now she was being treated like an animal too.
Noah let himself be carried, even though he could have walked on his own, and was only being a burden. He would never turn down a good piggyback ride.
“Okay,” Elon agreed. He finished his piece of bread. He still felt a bit hungry, since the bread wasn’t very filling. But she didn’t have anything else, and no one else had been offered any. So it would be impolite to ask for more. “Are we going home now, or just hiding?”
Aria shut her eyes “I have never teleported that many people.” She whispered, “ I am exhausted”
“Just rest a bit while we get our bearings. That was probably some hard work,” Kyle said. “You can tell us when you’re ready.” One trip seemed like enough to him, but four of those spin cycles? He could totally see why she’d feel a bit sick.
“Where are we?” Korim asked. They were surrounded by forest, certainly not in the place he had meant to go. He didn’t want to suffer through another night of nightmare creatures attacking people.

The lanky guard nodded, disappearing from the chamber to carry out the mans request for Trintan’s assistance and yelled at the two guards to lock up the three-eyed man somewhere confined, lacking specifics as he hurriedly jogged past them. The two guards shared a look, “In one of the cells?” one asked questioningly, the other shrugged, bending down to grab Take by the hood. He’d seen what he had done to his fellow guards with his heat abilities and didn’t plan on coming into contact with his skin, even if he was unconscious. “Whatever is closest, I don’t want to drag this nuisance around the whole place.” the second guard growled, hauling Take down the hall. The two reached the hold area of the Dakrium with the rows of cells lined up on each side of the hall. A guard unlocked an unoccupied cell and set Take down inside against the wall, shackling his wrists in cuffs before leaving and securing the door shut with a key. The two guards disappeared, returning to their previous posts.

The masked man entered the room, along with Trintan, in case anything anything boiled over.
“You have been a bad boy,” the masked man hissed. He paralyzed the already unconscious Take with pain.
“Don’t do that,” warned Tristan. “It’s not like it’ll have any effect on him.”

“Wait Kevin. I can do it” Aria called “come on, if you don’t teleport with us then we will have a serious problem. We can’t leave the others alone out in the middle of nowhere”

“No, no,” Korim assured. “I’m sure you teleported us in the right direction, but the forest juts out north here. I should have been more specific.” He looked around. “Well. I hope we are going in the right direction. We simply have to get back to the mountains before the sun sets and everything will be fine.”

Cold, damp scents greeted Blair when she awoke. It smelled like earth, like dirt instead of the sweet-smelling forest she had been in moments before. Where the hell am I?
Balancing herself on the wall behind her, she slowly rose, taking in the small cell, only three walls and a door with thick metal bars. They should have known better then to lock us in here. A little door isn't going to stop us.
Blair stepped away from the wall, testing the door. She pulled at it, gentle at first, then harder and harder until she was throwing her full strength at it. The bars didn't budge, however, only shuddering under her violent attacks. That doesn't make any sense. I should be able to do that. Werewolf proof, maybe? But how do they know? Those little people did.
"Damn it." Leaning against the bars, Blair looked out, finding no one around, though she heard voices. Then, buried beneath the smell of dirt, sweat and other people, a familar scent reached her. Take.
"Take?" She clawed at the bars, desperate to see if it was him. It had to be; there was no mistaking the scent. "Take?! Is that you?" Her clawing became more frantic, claws screeching against the metal painfully, but she didn't cease. I've got to get out of here. I've got to.
