The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Carson pressed down his terror, trying to keep a cool head. He wouldn't be able to fight well if he was too filled with fear. "Please, just let us go in peace. We didn't realize this was your cave. We will leave if you just let us go."
Buck let out a roar of dismay as the dragon scooped up Carson. He debated whether or not to pounce
“Carson!” Ellie warned “I don’t want to be attending that date we agreed on alone”

The dragon flicked Buck the growling nuisance far away. Though he would sustain a lot of painful bruises, it would save his life, despite the dragon’s opposing intentions.
Eve turned sprinting back to the cave. She saw them all and the dragon. She signaled for them to cover their ears. Once she was satisfied that they all had she whispered “put. Them. Down.”
“What do you want?” Korim asked, wondering why Eve was plugging her ears. Cam covered her ears and Korim followed suit.
“Couldn’t hurt.”
Kyle and Rylie had no idea what was going on, though Kyle was at a safe enough distance to not hear the whisper. Rylie had very acute hearing and fainted dead away. (though he had barely heard a thing.)
The dragon instantly froze like stone and fell to the ground. His piercing violet eye stared into the distance. Korim, who thought the dragon’s collapse was a sudden move to kill him rolled out of the dragons frozen claws into a whimpering ball, still with his fingers in his ears.

Eve smiled lifting her head high.

(Watch me realize I’ve been calling a she-dragon a “he” this whole time. :th)
Cam gasped for breath, realizing she’d been holding during the whole encounter with the dragon.
“You did it! You killed the dragon!” Cam said, standing up, reluctant to remove her fingers from her ears as though some echo of Eve’s voice would come back to kill her. She shivered in the rain. Korim’s, shaking, soaked body was curled on the ground. A spurt of horror rushed through Cam.
“Wait, did you ki-“
Korim realized he wasn’t going to die and unpeeled himself from the very uncomfortable rocks and looked up sheepishly. “No reason for alarm,” he said weakly. He looked at the dragon in wonder. “Wait, she’s dead? You can kill her, with your voice?” he asked Eve. Which was stupid, because if she answered, then he’d be dead. “Actually, do not answer that question,” he said. “I understand completely.”

Rylie’s soggy body slumped behind the rock.
“Rylie what happened? Wait? Rylie?” Kyle’s already incredibly fast pulse (a little people thing) increased drastically. Kyle tried to check for a pulse on Rylie, but through the wet, stuck-together fur it was nigh-impossible. Also Kyle’s own fingers had lost most feeling due to the unpleasantly chilly rain.
“Rylie?”

Eve nodded slowly.

Eve nodded slowly.
Hana was sure to cover her ears once Eve returned to the cave after she watched her flee. When the dragon collapsed and no further movement occurred, she made her way back to the group. The dragons cold lifeless violet eyes stared straight through her as she examined it. Though it seemed one of their group mates fell victim to Eve’s fatal ability.

Hana came over and crouched down beside Rylie’s strewn out body. She reached her fingers out to the cat, giving Kyle a glance for his permission to let her check for a pulse.

Eve watched horrified, she had never wanted anyone to get hurt. This was all her fault.

Kyle nodded. His eyes were filled with worry, but he wasn’t sure of Rylie’s death. Simply concerned, it wasn’t normal for a cat to just fall over. “What happened? He was just sitting there, and then he fell on his side!”

Hana took a hand and flattened out the damp, thick fur on Rylie’s neck to get as close as she could to the skin and check for the pulse with her fingers. She closed her eyes, concentrating for even the slightest thump, but nothing. She could feel whatever warmth was left drain away from the cats body. Her hands drifted away from him and she smoothed out his fur gently, “Theres nothing.” she whispered before gazing up at Kevin. “Would you be able to revive him?”

Kyle turned even white than usual and collapsed on Rylie’s fur, a picture of despair. Cam’s entire heart broke to see someone so fierce and rather annoying so broken. Especially in the rain, like a sad movie scene. He sunk further into the damp fur so that his tiny face was obscured by it. What reason did he have to go on if Rylie wasn’t there?
