The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Ciro immediately froze in place on the door's threshold, horrified by his seeming mistake. Taquikkar, however, having scented Tru, had no problem with making her elegant way over to the collie and greeted her with an amicable growl.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Lilith," Ciro said in a rush, having been ready to escape the way he'd come, but now, thanks to his nosy wolf, obligated to keep on awkwardly intruding. "I had no idea this was your room...come, Taquikkar, come!" Yet Taquikkar, despite how her hearing had developed extremely well in lieu of her eyes, made no notion of having even heard him.
Lilith had already gotten up, hurrying over to the dresser and picking up her only belongings. "No, no, don't worry. It's not, really, it's Kevin's so I'm assuming it's gonna be for the guys-- He just told me to shower here, so I'd just sat down to play with Tru a bit afterwards. Guess I must've lost track of time." She laughed, picking up her shoes.
Tru had stood up, waving his tail happily and giving a few playful yips to the much bigger canine, always up to play with Taquikkar or Kit. Lili whistled for him to come, but instead he play bowed in very much a puppy-esque.
“Yessss!” Noah said, missing his high five in an awkward swing despite Torin’s hand being a fixed point.
Torin laughed as Noah accidentally hit him in the shoulder, giving a sly smile as he reached out a swiftly gave a soft slap to the shoulder back.
Aria stood creeping out the room she knocked on the door to room number 5. She closed the door to number 3 so they wouldn’t have light leaking in.
Kylan jumped up, carefully stepping around the boys to the door. "'Ey, be quiet for a moment, okay? I'll be right back." He instructed, plastering a wide smile on his face and opening the door, stepping out and turning a bit rosy as he saw it was Aria. "Oh, ah, hey, Aria. How are you? We were... Just going to sle-- Torin, don't hit him." He said coolly, before hissing under his breath at his younger brother.
He shut the door behind him to hide the wreck of scattered pillows and covers, and three intensely awake kids. He cleared his throat, now looking a bit awkward. "Didn't expect you to show up so soon, miss us?" He asked, acting innocent.

“He’s going out to see his girlfriend,” Noah hissed to Torin.

“No I’m here because I couldn’t sleep. Can you tell your brother and his friends to stop shouting?” she asked “please?”

Kylan stumbled backwards, toppling over from the two boys combined forces and flopping to the ground like some sort of slain beast from legend.
It's rumored you can still hear his head hitting the ground to this day.
He knew he'd also turn the into some sort of joke next time he had a chance, probably telling Lilith, Ciro, or Aria that with a simple donation of a dollar a month they could help save endangered Kylan's from communism.
He groaned, sitting up slowly, rubbing his head as he eyed the boys suspiciously.

"Communism has saved me!" Torin roared, ripping out of the blankets and raising his hands for high fives from both Noah and Alex.

Lilith looked up as Ciro came into Kevin's bedroom, stopping her soft humming and giving a small nod of acknowledgement as she stroked a panting Tru's side, who had sprawled out on her lap on the floor.
"Ciro." She greeted swiftly, starting to push Tru off her so she could stand up and leave the guy's bedroom for a girl's one.
Alex high-fived him joyfully. He gazed down upon Kylan, like a great knight who had finally slain a dreaded dragon. Of course, he couldn’t have done it if not for the almighty power of... communism.
To celebrate his victory, Alex grabbed a spare pillow and yeeted it at Kylan’s face, but missed horribly and instead landed it on a random lamp on a bed stand.

“No I’m here because I couldn’t sleep. Can you tell your brother and his friends to stop shouting?” she asked “please?”
“Oh, she’s givin’ him the what for,” Noah reported, his ear pressed against the door.

“He’s going out to see his girlfriend,” Noah hissed to Torin.
Torin snickered, rocking back and forth on the heels of his feet. "Heh, he doesn't even realize that they're pretty much a couple! He's so weird."

“If they don’t I’m going to go bunk down in front of the fireplace” Aria said
Kylan sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, yeah, I can. Sorry about all that, Ari. They'll be quiet." And I suppose I will, too. " We kinda just... Got out of hand. Um, is there anything else you need from me?"

"Good!" Torin said to Noah, smirking. "He needs it, sometimes. He has it coming to him." He sighed dramatically, like some sort of exasperated older family member. "It helps keep him down to earth, ya'know?"

Kylan heard the crash as the pillow was flung into the lamp and hit the wall, turning and putting his head near the door. "If anything's broke when I come back in, you're taking full responsibility when you boys talk to Kevin!"

“I think that will be all” Aria eyed him suspiciously “well goodnight Kylan”.

Kipp picked at his fingernails holding the phone with his shoulder as it rang, staring vacantly at the floor. It rang three times before going to voice mail. Kipp ended the call and redialed, there had to be someone on the other end.

"He-hello?" Came a halting confused voice over the phone. Kipp breathed an excited sigh of relief.

"Chris?" There was a long pause before he said anything else.

"Yes. Who is this?" He asked. Kipp smiled at his brothers annoyed phone voice.

"it's me, Kipp."

(I have to go now. I'll be back in a few hours.)

His last statement hung in the air, another long pause before Chris said anything else.

"Kipp. You're, alive?" Kipp bit his lip, the tone in his brothers voice wasn't exactly what he'd been expecting. Not happy, or angry, just a flat and cold.

"Yeah." He answered quietly. "Sorry I didn't call sooner. I wanted to, I just, couldn't." He could hear Chris taking in a long breath and then sighing it out on the other end.

"Right. Look I'm at work. I have to go." Chris said hanging up before Kipp could say anything else.

"O- ok." He said, pulling the phone away from his ear to frown at the receiver. At least they're alive, and ok. He thought to himself, trying to force the squirming emptiness in his stomach away. He was just busy. That's all. He shook his head to clear his thoughts puffing a breath of air out and setting the phone back where it belonged. At least he didn't yell at you. He could have yelled at you. He thought making his way back over to the fireplace, this time curling up against the high armrest of the couch. Dad will yell at me.... What if he doesn't. That would be worse. But they're ok. It's fine.
