The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Noah snatched the recipe and brandished it joyously, capering and holding it in the air. “We got it! We’re getting pancakes!” Cam rolled her eyes and plucked the paper out of his hand and mouthed thank-you, in Kevin’s direction, like she totally wasn’t the one behind the pancake scheme.
Then she began to gather ingredients. It was fortunate that he had chickens, which provided fresh eggs. The milk had to be substituted for dried milk, however, since it had long spoiled.
(Or water water works in place of milk in pancakes.

I have to go for several hours i'll try to post as soon as i can)

(He has cows, so there’s probably fresh milk. :3)

Kylan was an early riser from way back, and being in someone else's home didn't hinge that habit, quite helping his eyes to snap open at some unholy early hour of the morning.
He kept quiet, carefully peeking up over the edge of the bed to make sure the communist terrors hadn't arisen, which thankfully for him, they had not. He knew that peace wouldn't last forever, it never did with them. Being Torin's and Noah's favorite of the group didn't save him from the siege, either.
He reached over and collected his boots and belt, slinking over as silently as possible to the bathroom door, of which he entered and quickly got the shower he had been unable to get the night before. When he got out, he got back into his Borealian attire of a red shirt and orange pants as fast as he could, glancing at himself in the mirror. He really hadn't changed other than the fact that he was more toned muscularly and his skin was a bit darker, and his hair had grown to be a real poof and turned sort of wavy, not that he cared much, it still had his signature look to it. The blonde dyes was still there, too, however they seemed smaller due to the black parts growing.
But he quickly scurried out of the bathroom though, nervous to leave the trio alone too long, even if they were sleeping. He got in just in time, as Torin has awakened too and was slipping out of the bed with a yawn. "Mornin'." He greeted his younger brother, whom only returned it with a nod and wave as he went to the bathroom himself, soon returning.
Kylan glanced at the other two boys, who were still sleeping peacefully.
It probably wasn't the best idea to leave them alone up here.
So he stepped over his mess of covers to the bed, giving them both a couple pats on the shoulders to wake them up. "Alright, c'mon. Let's go see if we can get some food in this house or not."
Before Noah or Alex could reply, however, Torin had vaulted out the door and freed himself, causing Kylan to spin on his heels and chase after him down the dark hallway, definitely waking up someone in the process-- As he was sure he heard Lilith snarl something through the walls, but who knew.
He swung around the corning much too fast, practically flying down the stairs and vaulting the last few in his desperate attempt to wrangle Torin-- Which went horridly wrong as he face planted on the hardwood floors, sliding a bit and coming to a halt when he was stopped by someone's feet.
He rolled over, eyes squinting and face plastered with a stupid grin, already doing finger guns. "I meant to do that. It's a new, um, dance move. Yeah."
Aria looked down at him curiously “uh huh” she nodded raising her eyebrows.
(Saaaaame. I can’t keep it in a simple ponytail.)
“Don’t look now but here comes the commies,” Cam said dryly, hearing a large crash that could only belong to one person.

Food.
Noah’s black eyes peeled open to a frightening wideness, and his pupils seemed to swell like a hunting cat’s at the utterance of the sacred greeting, the only thing that could rouse him from his angelic slumber.
“Food?” he asked, streaking out the door. He hadn’t eaten the night before and now he was starving.
Noah practically flew down the stairs. When Kylan fell, Noah vaulted over his prone form and slid into the kitchen. Cam swore she could see skid-marks.
“Is there food here?” Noah chirped.
”Oh I know believe me” Aria responded
A whole heap more people joined them downstairs in a matter of seconds, Aria sighed. “Did you sleep well?” She asked Cam

(Me:What’s a good way to express that the group is in shambles?
Brain: rag-tag, every time.
Me: Isn't there a better way? To enrich society?
Brain: No!
Me: But why?
Brain: RAG-TAG! Fool, when has the English language made sense?)

Noah gave Torrin a surreptitious grin. Let’s kidnap Kevin, he said, using the uncanny psuedo-telepathic powers that the little boys seemed to share in causing havoc.
Cam the master manipulator rubbed her hands together. We’re getting pancakes today.
(That was my brain exactly XD)
Torin grinned, looking threateningly towards Kevin.
Kevin grabbed the house phone, dialing his parents number. They answered almost instantly, sounding frantic as they spoke in Russian. They calmed down pretty quickly after Kevin told them he was fine, and tried to explain what happened the best he could.
His attention was drawn to Kylan as he said something about kidnapping Kevin and pancakes. Getting the rough idea, he held the phone with his shoulder, carrying out his conversation like nothing happened. He rummaged through his pantry, finding his old, vintage cookbook and pulling out the pancake recipe. He scribbled the rough English translation on a spare piece of paper. A few words were misspelled, but it wasn’t hard to see what it meant.
He silently said the ingredients, pointing to each of their locations as he did so, along with any dishes they might need, before turning back to the phone.

Torin was nearly skipping as they were award the sacred note of pancakes by Kevin, eyes sparkling as Cam went about making them. "Yes! Pancakes!"

Before the children had taken up their rein of chanting pancakes and he y e e t e d hurled the cushion at Kipp, because apparently he's a time bending madman, Kylan giggled nervously.
Now, in current time, Kylan glanced at her with a small smile. "How'd you sleep? After the monsters were silenced, I mean?"

“Not good. I kept having flashbacks to me getting attacked by that wolf at the start. Everything flooded back” Aria sighed “but after an hour of talking to Colby downstairs I went back to sleep”

“Yep!” Cam said, with all of the dubious exuberance of a morning person compounded by a warm bed and deionized by the fact that she had in fact only slept for a couple hours (remember, it was very early morning when they got to Russia) so she was actually a very unstable compound.
She poured the batter on the griddle in pancake-shaped circles and plastered on a sinful grin as she reached for a bag of chocolate chips.
The chocolate chip fairy has come! Cam always jokingly blamed the chocolate chip fairy when she snuck a few chocolate chips on pancakes her mother turned her back on.
Cam dumped the chocolate chips on indiscriminately and waited patiently.
On the outside she was fine, but on the inside she was a unicorn disco singing about how her dreams were coming true.
Chocolate pancakes bathed in butter. What could be better?

“Mmmm those smell delicious” Aria grinned walking over to look “choc chip! My favourite”
