The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Ellie yawned having just had a shower and she was now brushing her very long hair. She quickly and nimbly tied it back into a plait before smiling and walking down the stairs she caught a whiff of pancakes. “Mmm Cam that smells good” she called grinning.

Fred brushed his ruffled Hair so it didn’t stand on end like it did when he first rolled out of bed. He followed Ellie down.
Eve opened her mouth into a silent yawn and smiled kicking her blankets off her and going into the bathroom to have a shower

Kylan was an early riser from way back, and being in someone else's home didn't hinge that habit, quite helping his eyes to snap open at some unholy early hour of the morning.
He kept quiet, carefully peeking up over the edge of the bed to make sure the communist terrors hadn't arisen, which thankfully for him, they had not. He knew that peace wouldn't last forever, it never did with them. Being Torin's and Noah's favorite of the group didn't save him from the siege, either.
He reached over and collected his boots and belt, slinking over as silently as possible to the bathroom door, of which he entered and quickly got the shower he had been unable to get the night before. When he got out, he got back into his Borealian attire of a red shirt and orange pants as fast as he could, glancing at himself in the mirror. He really hadn't changed other than the fact that he was more toned muscularly and his skin was a bit darker, and his hair had grown to be a real poof and turned sort of wavy, not that he cared much, it still had his signature look to it. The blonde dyes was still there, too, however they seemed smaller due to the black parts growing.
But he quickly scurried out of the bathroom though, nervous to leave the trio alone too long, even if they were sleeping. He got in just in time, as Torin has awakened too and was slipping out of the bed with a yawn. "Mornin'." He greeted his younger brother, whom only returned it with a nod and wave as he went to the bathroom himself, soon returning.
Kylan glanced at the other two boys, who were still sleeping peacefully.
It probably wasn't the best idea to leave them alone up here.
So he stepped over his mess of covers to the bed, giving them both a couple pats on the shoulders to wake them up. "Alright, c'mon. Let's go see if we can get some food in this house or not."
Before Noah or Alex could reply, however, Torin had vaulted out the door and freed himself, causing Kylan to spin on his heels and chase after him down the dark hallway, definitely waking up someone in the process-- As he was sure he heard Lilith snarl something through the walls, but who knew.
He swung around the corning much too fast, practically flying down the stairs and vaulting the last few in his desperate attempt to wrangle Torin-- Which went horridly wrong as he face planted on the hardwood floors, sliding a bit and coming to a halt when he was stopped by someone's feet.
He rolled over, eyes squinting and face plastered with a stupid grin, already doing finger guns. "I meant to do that. It's a new, um, dance move. Yeah."
Alex rolled over several times and fell off the bed with a muffled umph. He shot to his feet and raced across the hall, down the stairs, and skidded fabulously to a stop“Pancakes?!” He cried.
Nat slowly blinked out of sleep's general anesthetic and immediately regretted it. She was laying on the softest thing she'd touched in months, but that was just about the only non-painful aspect. Her hair was a wild, hot tangle that webbed across her face like an only slightly less rough fishing net; her skin was sticky, gritty, and dry, all at once; her dress was pinned beneath her and tightened around her to an unbearable extent; and her dying feet were still clad in her infallible duck boots, which were, if it needed clarification, not exactly of a breathable material.
But those were only the external discomforts.
Her bruised head, whiplashed neck, and suffering eyes were whole other matters entirely.
"Not gonna lie, I feel like I'm suffering my first hangover," she admitted to the glaring white ceiling. "Don't judge me, because we all know you've been there too."
Hearing Lilith and Nat talking, Maya muttered something and turned over. “Are we still in Russia?” She asked the ceiling. Stupid Coronavirus. I could be at my house sleeping in right now.

Kylan grinned, reaching down and picking up the cushion, throwing it in Kipp's general direction since he was feeling rather brave today and decided to poke a sleeping lion. "You be quiet." He's gonna kill us all because of me.
Kipp's only response to the pillow bouncing off his back was a muffled grumble, about how he wasn't going to sleep on the couch ever again.
“Yep!” Cam said, with all of the dubious exuberance of a morning person compounded by a warm bed and deionized by the fact that she had in fact only slept for a couple hours (remember, it was very early morning when they got to Russia) so she was actually a very unstable compound.
She poured the batter on the griddle in pancake-shaped circles and plastered on a sinful grin as she reached for a bag of chocolate chips.
The chocolate chip fairy has come! Cam always jokingly blamed the chocolate chip fairy when she snuck a few chocolate chips on pancakes her mother turned her back on.
Cam dumped the chocolate chips on indiscriminately and waited patiently.
On the outside she was fine, but on the inside she was a unicorn disco singing about how her dreams were coming true.
Chocolate pancakes bathed in butter. What could be better?
“Mmmm those smell delicious” Aria grinned walking over to look “choc chip! My favourite”

The first mention of chocolate had him off the couch, groggily stumbling for the kitchen. It had been so long since he'd had chocolate he didn't even recognize the smell of it cooking. He hovered near the edge of the counter, giving Kylan a semi-conscious scowl.
"What are you so cheerful about?" He asked snatching a couple of pancakes from the tray, and shoving the smaller one in his mouth in it's entirety.

“Not good. I kept having flashbacks to me getting attacked by that wolf at the start. Everything flooded back” Aria sighed “but after an hour of talking to Colby downstairs I went back to sleep”
Kylan frowned, nodding. "I'm sorry, Ari. I hope you can sleep better tonight." He murmured, saddened that the wolf attack still haunted her.

Torin skipped up, taking a plate of a couple and smiling up at Cam like a little saint. "Thanks, Cam! They smell so good!" He said, moving back and hopping up at the kitchen table to eat.

Kylan also collected several, sitting back at the kitchen island. "Yep, thanks Cam! They look great. And chocolate chips? Man, am I so in debt to you, my mom hardly ever lets chocolate in the house."

"Yeah! Super good pancakes that Cam made!" Torin yelled rather loudly, mouth muffled by a bite of pancake.
"Torin, bro, I love you, but please start swallowing before you yell."

Lilith laughed, grinning. "Well, last time I checked we are. I seriously doubt someone snuck in and teleported us to another house."

Kylan snickered, looking up from his pancakes and swallowing. "Why're you so sour? Maybe I'm just cheerful. I'm in a warm house and not a forest or shack for the first time in three months, am getting chocolate pancakes, it's super cool here, and I haven't heard the word 'communism' a single time this morning."
A muffled "communism!" came at that very moment.
He groaned, face palming. "I jinxed it, didn't I?"

“Believe me so do I, or I’m going to be in a baad mood tomorrow” Aria said. She giggled smiling at Kylan jinxing the Communism

“You’re welcome,” Cam said, using a clean spoon to pop him on the poofy head.
She had somehow, quite impossibly, procured an inexhaustible quantity of pancakes and sat down to eat with the rest of the gang.
Kylan frowned, nodding. "I'm sorry, Ari. I hope you can sleep better tonight." He murmured, saddened that the wolf attack still haunted her.

“That wasn’t me, that was the chocolate chip fairy,” Cam said with a wink.
“Communism!” Noah chirped between guarded bites.
He stood up to reach a syrupy, sticky hand across the table to high five his communist comrade, but then, as he realized the distance, he thought better of it and sat down. We’ll have to sit next to each other next time.

Kipp looked around at the chorus of people thanking Cam for the pancakes. His eyes had barely been open when he took them and so he had been completely unaware of who had made them. Kipp added his own voice to everyone elses, thanking her sheepishly for the pancakes.

"Sorry. They're really good." He added embarrassed he hadn't thanked the cook regardless of who it was to begin with.

"Mr. Cheerful. I know a secret that no one else seems to know. Morning, is for sleep." Kipp shook his head flopping his pancake around to emphasize his point. "Not for being awake, and certainly not for being cheerful." Kipp frowned at the pancake in his hand then at Kylan's plate. Distractedly looking around for where everyone else had gotten one while adding, "Besides, it's Monday. I thought everyone knew Monday was cranky day." Kipp half stood to lean across the island and grabbed a plate for himself flopping his pancake down triumphantly in the center, and sitting back down before realizing he needed a fork too.

"Why?" He asked resuming his conversation with Kylan. "It's morning. Who's cheerful in the morning?"
“Me!” Cam said cheerfully, very much interrupting their private conversation. She spun out of her chair with a buttered pancake in hand and gnawed on it while she put the dirtied dishes into the sink.
“Anybody really love washing dishes? Because if you do, I’d love you for that, because I don’t.”
She discretely rinsed the Kipp-bopping spoon and put it in its proper place before returning to her seat. So she could dump syrup on those pancakes.
