The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

(Mean while I cringe at my girls reaction. She's so much like my sister. I think my favorite that I've seen in person, is the Black spruce)

"Oh geez, calm down." She said grimacing as she waved her hands back and forth. "Yeah, they're ok? Probably, the best part of the city, back home."
(I love catalpas.)
“Ah...” Cam said, happy about her judgement call, deciding this girl probably didn’t have a favorite tree. Now she was a bit embarrassed by her exuberance, but pushed on. “Ah. So you live in the city. I’m from Cincinnati, but the suburbs. Where do you come from?”
Kipp hopped in the window behind Noah his jaw dropping at the stunning interior of the mustard yellow building. The walls were painted a dark red with crisp white trim, and the ceiling was higher than he'd ever seen a ceiling before. As he'd suspected it was some kind of museum, walls of protective glass stood all through the room, with all sorts of ornate things on display. He immediately knew that going in there was a mistake, and they should leave.

"Uhh, Noah? This place is... Super cool, but uhh, we're probably breaking all sorts of laws. We should go before we get in trouble."
“Okay!” Noah said. He liked the boy with wings. First of all, he was basically the savior -even before he grew back the awesome wings that he now found made him an awesome companion to fly with- who freed him from the awful thing Fred called the “child labor place.” If Kipp said they had to go and it wasn’t safe, Noah wasn’t going to stick around to find out if it was men or boys lugging whips, or something worse.

Blair watched as Elias vanished from sight, and she paused in her backwards walking slowly turning around. "Right..." she muttered to herself, clutching the bag. And she was alone again, even though Cam and Juli were only a little bit away. She hated how strange the Earth's forest felt, now. The creatures were nothing like Borealis, the trees too dull and normal, and even the soil was different beneath her feet.
She continued back towards the others, not sparing a glance to Juliana. "I can get us back to the house if you like, Cam."

“No, thank you,” Cam said in a polite tone. She drew in a breath of the familiar trees and forest. “I don’t mind it... wait, where’s Noah?”
Blood drained from her face, though to say she turned white would be inaccurate. “Let’s go back,” she said hurriedly.

"Queens, mnn, New York." She added on the city name, unsure if that was clear or not.

Juli remained as the two left resuming her aimless wandering.

Kipp gave him an apologetic grimace, Noah was being far more cooperative than he'd expect of any other kid his age. But breaking and entering was not exactly the kind of field trip he'd intended to take him on.

"Actually, I have a better idea. Let's go shopping." He said cheerfully helping Noah back out through the window they'd come through. He wasn't sure why exactly the window would be open, most museums had sealed windows and air conditioning to keep things safe from the elements, but they at the very least hadn't done any 'breaking' so hopefully they hadn't set off any alarms. "In September Chris told me that if ever I got myself in trouble I could use his credit card. I've got the numbers up here." He said tapping his head. "So, lets go see what we can find at a store instead."

(??? I really have no clue what I'm doing with either of my characters. 😅 )

(Me neither, lol)
Noah climbed back on Kipp’s back, careful to position himself the most comfortably.

"Alright, let's go." Blair turned quickly, following a trail that had Juliana's scent, hoping it led back to the house. She had also left Kit and Emma unattended, and who knows what they and Noah were getting into.

Aella's gaze followed his, and apparently great minds really do think alike because she had the same train of thought. "So dead," she murmured, a grin forming as she looked to him. "Do it."
That was all the encouragement Ciro needed. He lifted the latch, and slid in, beckoning for Aella to follow.
The chickens didn't seem all that bothered. He got into a crouch and extended his hand out to hover above a clueless local citizen, then promptly froze.
"Now what?" he hissed over his shoulder, suddenly petrified into complete inaction.

Cam trotted after her. She had developed a lot of endurance in Borealis, though she could never compete with Blair.
