The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“I already ate, I had some of those... jerky thingies from Korim right after I went through the portal.” Take shared, pointing at Kit’s morsel. He laid the second fruit on her lap without another word and grabbed the disfigured black sweater that rested over his shoulders to cover Blair and Emma the best he could. He shifted into a crouching position, his tone soft “I’ll be back, you should sleep. Or at least try to” he told Blair, knowing she hardly ever did. He planned to go and discuss with the rest of the group what the plan was next now that the missing kids were all back and that they still had opposing forces to deal with.

Hana stared blankly back at Kipp, this revelation leaving her speechless. They’re children..? Whoever they are... are turning them into those creatures..? She had no choice but to believe his words, the cruel, harsh reality behind the we-sa. It was definitely not her decision to have the entire group go and bring an end to the horrors that were occurring on this planet, but something had to be done.
Blair nodded, taking the fruit and inspecting it before looking at him when he covered her and Emma with his sweater. She took a bite out of the fruit, narrowing her brows slightly. It was sweet, but nothing like fruit on Earth. "Okay." She murmured, adjusting the sweater around Emma. "Where are you going?"

Cam nodded. She normally would have attempted a conversation about the garden, but she was exhausted after all the events of the day.
“I’m going to sleep now,” she said, as though she had to explain her actions.
She curled up against the wall on the floor, not caring that the ground was hard, or that she was infinity miles from home or even caring about what strange purpose had brought her to this place. She was too tired to think about it all.
Seeing the sleeping Cam, Noah fell asleep as well, next to her for protection. It was dark in that cave. Elon was already drowsing.

Kyle was sitting on an exhausted Rylie and attentively listening to Korim and Selena, occasionally interjecting with a “mhm” or a question.

Take casted a peering glance over his shoulder, at the gathering of individuals near the heaps of treasure he totally didn’t have a pocket full of. His brows furrowed “Over there, they’re talking about whoever’s in charge of that prison place..” he muttered. His legs stretched up into a standing position, “Later” he whispered before venturing over to Kyle’s group, the loot in his pocket clinking quite loudly in the now quiet atmosphere of the cave.

He aggressively intervened on the group, “So when do we beat the crap out of this punk?” he growled, cracking his knuckles. There was a glint of violence in his eyes, clearly prepared to impulsively engage in combat.

“It looks like it’s the only way, if we’re to get home,” Kyle said. “He’s the one making the portals. So I’ll say as soon as possible.”

Death was strange.
Seeing such a majestic beast, a scaled ruler of the mountain, fall and simply wither away with a single whisper was frightening. But also intriguing, in a grotesque, strange way.
Aella stared at the feathered and scaled creature. Such a mighty queen she must have been, before she was dragged to the sorry, pitiful level of mortals. Just like the we-sa, she was gone in the blink of an eye.
Strange.
To see something exist, to see it exist with such fire, and then for it to just suddenly be gone, was unfathomable.
To Aella, anyway.
She frowned, turning away from the dragon, stealing one last glance at the fallen monster, and headed towards the group. Danger surrounded her, at every corner and she knew it. She was very aware of it, and very wary of it. Danger didn't just surround her, though.
For she was danger.
She was quite the ticking timebomb indeed, a lethal flare of fire boiling beneath the surface, and dare something mess with her, she would unleash a fury of hellfire upon any creature that dare try and test her.
Or Ciro. Ciro and Taquikkar were the only others on her list of people she'd protect. Almost everyone else? They were danger in their own respects. Electricity, a sort of uncontrollable Jeckyll and Hyde, a deadly voice, or simply enough speed, skills and smarts. Each incredible in their own right.
But she felt no need to protect them.
They were none of her concern.
Ciro, however, she couldn't explain. Was it their shared views of the cruel, hostile world, despite the many miles and vast differences between them? Or was it quite simply just his kindness? He had saved a beast that had literally tried to kill him, had showed kindness to her, even in her slightly insensitive, flighty way, when everyone around had turned a cold shoulder or flat out hostility.
He was her friend.
There was nothing else to add to that statement. Friends, real friends, were few and far for her. Real friends didn't lie or abandon you when you were at your worst.
She could just barely remember the last time someone hadn't.
She collected herself, approaching the group, eyeing the werewolf's boyfriend as he approached them as well warily, keeping away from him. She looked at Korim and the tiny little man expectantly, fire crawling up her fingers and arms so she could see. "What's the game plan?"

“Game plan? Did I um miss something? Game plan for what? I didn’t think we were under threat” Aria said standing up glancing nervously around the cave.
“In order to get home, we must defeat Olim, who created the portals,” Kyle explained. “And we are under threat. A lot of it. He’s been using the we-sas, which are children that he twisted to his will, to enslave more people to him. I’ll explain everything once everyone is awake in the morning.” He hoped to be the only one to suffer from nightmares that night. He had already explained too much, which would lead to more questions.

Eve looked up. What?! The We-sa are children? She had killed a child?! Her knees went weak. Everything she had tried to avoid had just been done

Take didn’t spare Aella a glance as frowned down at the uneven rock below his feet. His arms crossed against his chest, “We gotta do something with the kids first so they’re not in the way, then we go and find this dude..”

But where did Olim even reside? In the Dakrium? Normally in cartoons the villain lived in some obviously large hideout that really wasn’t well hidden. Like in Phineas and Ferb. Unfortunately they weren’t in a cartoon— but how cool that would be.

Take blinks, hard.
The memories of his ‘torture’ come flowing back like a tidal wave, the painful electric-like sensation reignites in his hands and they flex slightly. He grips his arms tighter as a result. To be in a constant state of excruciating pain was something he wanted to forget, and knowing that the kids who were transformed into we-sa’s had to experience that... made him sick. He gritted his teeth, fueled with even more anger to bring down Olim, to slug him right in the face and break every bone he could.

"The we-sa are children?!" The flames on Aella's hands and arms flared up at the sharp tone of her voice, and she backed up as to not burn anyone. Horror stuck her straight on that thought. Kids. Defenseless, helpless children turned into killer, yellow eyed beings. Something hadn't been right about the dead we-sa she had seen and that was it. It wasn't a beast, it was a child.
And that made her sick.
She would burn whoever had been a part of it to the ground. She held no mercy for those who intentionally harmed others, especially children. She knew what it was like to be hurt by adults as a child and not understand why, and she couldn't even understand half of what those kids.
The energy in the cave shifted instantly. She saw Eve look up, blatantly startled and horrified, and when her gaze drifted to the wolf girl, she saw the distant gaze in the pink haired man's face, his body tensed. The wolf girl had barely changed, except for the dark yellow glow in her gaze that, not that she would admit it, slightly scared her.
But one question was nagging at her. "But how do we get to Olim?"

Kevin watched the children, wondering if he had spoken English. He wasn’t sure if the kids were just tired and didn’t hear him, or, the more likely option, they were taught to be aware of strangers, especially oversized men with strange accents. Maybe it was a mixture of both.
Deciding to let one of their older members come to him if need be, and not willing to repeat himself, Kevin let his focus drift to the current discussion.
We-sa? Children? His stomach turned, his eyes flickering towards Eve. He kept his features blank, but inside he was disgusted. He had already disaproved of Eve killing the beast, but now that he found out it had once been human? And not just any human, a young, kidnapped child.
He climbed to his feet, staggering to the wall of one of the caves farthest from Eve and sat down, listening to the rest of their conversation as he focused on replenishing his energy.
