The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"She didn't know any better. Accidents happen." Blair spoke up, her voice carrying even though she was at the back of the cave. "You would have done the exact same in her situation. How was she supposed to know it was a child?"
“Oh no I didn’t mean her. I meant the people who turn them into the monsters, sorry that came across wrong” Aria said her eyes widening

Take fought off the cold, tense feeling he was receiving from remembering those horrid experiences and pulled himself from his frozen state. He was clearly not satisfied with Kyle’s decision, as he wanted to continue the discussion. He relaxed his arms and cursed under his breath in discontent. His eyes settled on the girl he still preferred to call ‘Scar-Face’ against Blair’s wishes. The flames that roared on her skin were bright and intense, much like what happened with the demon. It was odd that he was staring at her for so long, but he eventually spoke aloud his thoughts “Can you catch completely on fire..?”
Aella was watching the chaos of the cave, Aria's blame going directly to Eve, Hana and Wolf-Girl immediately defending her. She wasn't sure where to stand. Fearful, definitely, fire was no match for a lethal voice. But to place the blame entirely on her...
Take's question caught her attention though. She looked down at her hands, unaware of how bright the flames had gotten. "I mean...I don't know..." There was a momentary pause as she stepped away from anyone in the area close to her. First, it was a strange crawling sensation as the flames crept up her neck, but it didn't hurt. The fire can only hurt you if you give it consent.
The cave burst into brilliant light, only the shadows crawling along the back wall remaining, as the flames sprouted from her skin. Miraculously, her clothes and hair didn't burn, even though the heat coming from it was extreme.
And just as quickly as the fire came, it went. She caught herself from falling, her legs weak, her breath ragged. "The answer to your question is yes."

Aria paled “children?! You mean to tell me that what deadly voiced girl-sorry I can’t think of her name-killed was a child?! I’m sorry what sick person would do that to a kid?!” Aria cried her disgust could be clearly heard in her voice.
I can think of many who would do that to a kid, Kyle thought. He watched numbly as the others comforted the mute girl. There was obviously words being written on her paper pad, but he couldn’t maneuver well to read them, and he wasn’t great at comforting people. His small words of encouragement only seemed to make them uncomfortable since he was telling them to do things he clearly wasn’t capable of himself.
“Clearly I shouldn’t have told you so much,” he said loudly. “I imagine you won’t like the hike we have tomorrow, and it’ll be worse if you can’t keep your feet.”
Korim was inclined to agree, but unlike spoil-sport Kyle, he didn’t want to spoil their pity party.
So he watched them with his muscular arms crossed across his chest.

How do you know? They hate me here, o wish I was at home
A sad look came over his face as he read her message. Not entirely sure how to answer the first part. "I don't hate you. If I were turned into one of them, and forced to kidnap more people, I think," His eyes became distant as he tried to imagine how he'd feel, if he was even still himself at that point. "If someone stopped me, I'd be happy it was over."

Korim yelped with alarm as the woman who had been been steadily illuminating most of the cave suddenly burst into flames and fell onto the painful precious metal, barely catching herself.

“Woah, m’am,” he said, offering a hand. “Are you okay?”
Clearly she wasn’t okay if she spontaneously combusted. “Perhaps you should not try so hard to keep this place illuminated. Your peers really should be getting to bed anyways.”

Kevin leaned back against the cavern wall, closing his eyes as he listened to everyone comfort Eve, a strange feeling in his stomach.
“You forgot,” he said quietly, “how she was proud of killing it. She came back unharmed with the beast-turned child. Something like that would leave a rather large mark if it attacked first.” As far as he was aware, Eve came out of that “fight” unscathed.
He knew it didn’t matter now, the past was the past and that child was going to stay dead, but their attempts comfort her, making Eve seem like the true victim, made Kevin feel ill.

(Evil laugh)

Kevin watched the children, wondering if he had spoken English. He wasn’t sure if the kids were just tired and didn’t hear him, or, the more likely option, they were taught to be aware of strangers, especially oversized men with strange accents. Maybe it was a mixture of both.
Deciding to let one of their older members come to him if need be, and not willing to repeat himself, Kevin let his focus drift to the current discussion.
We-sa? Children? His stomach turned, his eyes flickering towards Eve. He kept his features blank, but inside he was disgusted. He had already disaproved of Eve killing the beast, but now that he found out it had once been human? And not just any human, a young, kidnapped child.
He climbed to his feet, staggering to the wall of one of the caves farthest from Eve and sat down, listening to the rest of their conversation as he focused on replenishing his energy.

Juli stood by herself in a spare corner her eyes locked on to Eve like daggers, it wasn't hard to tell who she was everyone piling around her to make her feel better. She noticed the tall blond man with the chickens moving away from her, and moved closer to him.

"I can't believe she'd do something like that."

Eve smiled at Kipp he was nice. So was Hanna. She looked at Aria who was looking at her feet

“CAN EVERYONE GO TO BED?” Kyle screamed, waving his arms for added effect, though no one could see him because their only light had gone dramatically out.

Eve smiled at Kipp
Kipp returned the smile, glancing at Hana before standing to move away and find some place to sleep.

His eyes falling on Cam who was sleeping already right next to Eve. Kyle's sudden insistence that they all go directly to sleep, encouraged him to do exactly what he was thinking with out too much thought put into it. And he curled up next to Cam, quickly falling asleep.
