The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

After the severing, Take released the unicorn from his grasps and sat up. Thankfully the horn wasn’t the type to bleed out excessively like the antlers on a deer. He stared right into Aellas eyes, without the hint of remorse for what he and Hana did. His face was nonchalant, “Yeah whatever.” he said simply, getting up and stepping over the flames that were etched all over the ground. He wasn’t interested in staying around to argue with this girl over something that couldn’t be reversed.

Hana stared straight down at the portion of horn that she whacked off with her katana. She didn’t meet anyone’s gaze, and could feel the intense heat that surrounded her. “I’m sorry, but it threatened the group..” she said lowly, hearing the anguish in Aellas voice. How she saw it, was the fastest way to resolve the conflict. The group was no longer at risk of being attacked by this creature. Had it been blind like the wolf Ciro managed to tame, she would have put a little more faith in him— but it wasn’t. She moved away silently, towards Aria to check on her wound.
Aria glanced up, Hana had come over. “I shouldn’t have done that” she said quietly

“I didn’t think it was much of a threat either..” Hana confessed softly, tilting her head to observe the wound the unicorn left behind on Aria’s arm. It was certainly unsightly and bloody, but it wasn’t drastically severe. She remembered that Kevin had healing powers, but once he did heal someone, he was just forgotten until someone got injured again. So she scowered through her bag that could be used as a bandage of some sort.

“Who would’ve thought a mythical creature from a kids fairytale would have been out for blood” Aria tried to make a joke

Hana let out a grunt when she made contact with the ground. Luckily she kept her body hardened long enough to withstand the trampling of the unicorns hooves. She was disoriented momentarily before struggling to her feet and patting the dirt off her arms and leg

Take stood watching the whole scene, and caught Blair’s eyes before she turned away and headed off with the rest of the group. He noticed her signal to follow, but he didn’t know what actions to take next. He wanted to follow her, but at the same time, he noticed the struggle the few others that stayed behind to deal with the unicorn. He looked in both directions before making his decision. Taking a few steps towards Blair and the others, he suddenly whirled and released Timit from his hands, throwing himself at the unicorn much like how Hana did. He tackled it to the ground and wrapped his arms around its neck, immobilizing its ability to turn its head. His legs were tightly coiled around its chest, refusing to let the unicorn get back up

Take picked up their conversation amidst the struggle. “Hurry up and cut this stupid thing off before I end up strangling it!” he yelled out at Hana, the one who always had her sword on her.

Hana hurried over and rested the hilt of her katana in her hands, visibly still bewildered from being trampled on, but she took a couple deep breaths before swinging her blade down on the twisted horn. She let out a yell when she swung, severing the tusk as close as she could to the head.
The unicorn was confused for a moment, then bucked, neighed, and galloped away. Fortunately it was uninjured, though it had lost its pride, and its only weapon.
It disappeared behind the rocks in an instant, running like a whipped dog.
The unicorn horn in Hana’s hand shimmered in the light.
Korim wandered over in awe. “Those have incredible healing properties,” he said. “Few have the fortune to own a unicorn horn.”

“Yeah,” Cam said, thinking Aria was completely serious.

Hana slipped her pack back on when she was unable to find anything to wrap up Arias wound. Though she took a glance at the unicorn horn that miraculously appeared in her palm. After Korim explained its use, she tried twirling it at Arias wound as if it was a wand, unsure of the method to trigger its healing property. However this worked, and the wound closed up, leaving nothing behind. She turned to Korim and handed the horn over to him after taking some time to think. “Maybe if you present this to the people at the settlement, they’ll reconsider their decision?”

Korim held the horn in his hand, feeling the hard, smooth twists of it. It gave him a strange, giddy energy boost. He couldn’t help but wish he could keep it for himself, it was so beautiful.
But it was impractical. They had a healer and even if he managed to fit it in his pack, it would probably just stab him in the back an uncomfortable number of times. Or it would get stolen or something.
“They might have some of these, living so high up in the mountains,” he said, but he could see the reason in her idea. “But I bet we could use it to bargain with them, if they don’t take it from us before we get the chance.”

Aella simply stared after Take, her jaw dropping in belief. How could someone attempt to kill a creature, and simply walk away.
She barely heard Hana's apology. Sure, the unicorn had run away, but it was missing its vital weapon. The weapon they were now discussing to pawn off to some strangers. Fire crackled around her from where the ring of lashing flames had landed, though it was dimming as her adrenaline faded. She became acutely aware of the tears staining her face, and she wiped them quickly.
Though she had slowly started to gain a liking for Take, she wasn't easily going to forgive him for how nonchalant he had been. The unicorn was unscathed, yes, but he had still harmed it and aided in harming it further without even batting an eye. Her gaze found Ciro immediately. If Hana and Take hadn't ruined it, she had full confidence that he would have been able to calm the animal.
However, it became apparent that he was barren of his furry companion that she became very accustomed to seeing him with, and she sought out the poor blinded wolf a little ways away.
She approached it carefully, making sure to speak before she got right up on her, not wanting to startle her. "Hey, buddy. Don't worry, we didn't forget about you."

Hana nodded, it was worth trying to get on their good side if they were to get any help with taking down Olim. “Let’s keep going” she said, already continuing in the direction they were headed. She reached up to gently touch her mask, feeling the small cracks in the hard plastic. There was no telling how much longer the mask would last, but she knew she would have to reveal her face at some point.

“Wow, now you have your own personal healing stick” she said “I wonder if the unicorns horn will grow back”

“I have no idea,” admitted Korim. “I never stayed around long enough to find out.”
He shrugged and waved his hand.
“Let’s get going before the unicorn comes seeking revenge.”
