The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“That was foolish,” muttered Korim angrily, shooting a glare at Hana, Take, and Blair. He was glad Hana got her katana back and all, but the more important thing in his opinion was not getting kicked out of the village, and the chief made it pretty clear that any nonsense like this would not be tolerated. “You’re fortunate that you don’t know the worth of those coins.”
Take ignored Korims words, what was done was done and he didn’t regret it. He repeated his question again and poked Korim in the face just to be a nuisance. “How long are we staying here?” he muttered. The group seemed to be altogether outside of the great hall, except for a certain child.
Blair nodded, listening carefully to her. Anything that involved any sort of blade was impressive to her, and she had seen what Hana had done with her katana, so she had to assume it was a pretty impressive sport. "I think that's amazing. I saw you work that thing with the manticore, and it was pretty damn awesome, I have to say. I don't know anything about it, but I have to guess it's pretty difficult to learn."
A gentle smile appeared on Hana’s face and thanked Blair for her compliments. She gave a nod, “It requires great dedication. Masters usually spend decades of their lives perfecting the art, so I still have some ways to go.” she leaned down and picked up her bag that one of the spearmen set outside the doors. She took some time to observe the group, making everyone was there, but somehow it felt off. All the adults and teens were present, but from the children.. “Are we missing a child?” she whispered to Blair.

“I hope we can discuss that at lunch,” Cam said. Her stomach growled.
“That is a wonderful plan,” said Korim. “Hopefully we won’t be here too long.”
“So, where do you think we’ll find some inns?” Kyle asked. “We could kill two birds with one stone if we make reservations after we eat.”

Take nodded. The thoughts of a legitimate meal make his stomach growl as well. He barely considered the slop from the Dakrium any good, but it kept him from completely starving. He lifted his nose into the air, smelling for that smoky sign of something cooking. “Come on” he told the group, already walking towards the inner village.

“Sweet,” said Cam, striding after him.
Rylie, lead by his nose, basically floated ahead towards the smell. Definitely no leading from Kyle.

Kipp followed everyone, standing outside with his arms folded over his chest. Too exhausted to really pay attention to what everyone one was talking about. He'd picked up the heavy blue sword and tried to find a better place to stick it, but he really didn't have any other place than an empty belt loop. He didn't particularly want to drag it around with him, but wasn't going to just leave it lying around either.

Trudging. That's how he made his way through town, following the rest.

(Sorry guys not really feelin it today. I be sick. - not dying - just a cold)

Blair rolled her eyes at Korim's comment, giving a half-hearted sneer in his direction. She didn't appreciate being called foolish. "Missing a child...?" She glanced around quickly, counting the group's younger kids as fast as she could. Noah, Torin, Emma...wait, no Emma. Where's Emma? And that other kid?
She turned abruptly, about to call the girls name when she saw Kit herding the little blonde towards her. Heaving a sigh of relief, she swept up the girl, mentally scolding herself. "This is why I can't be trusted with children." She muttered, petting Kit gently. "Where's that other kid though? Charlie's brother?" She turned to Hana, keeping her voice low. No sense in panicking the group...

The group eventually stumbled upon the village market which supplied the locals with all their necessary needs and any other items you’d find in a Borealean market. (Literally make up anything lol) The villagers definitely stopped to look at the odd rag-tag group of individuals as they passed by. Some small children pointed or made faces, but were scolded by their . Take didn’t pay any attention to the locals, his eyes were dead set on finding some sort of food stand. He stopped at one that intrigued him the most. It was a small stand that held a bulky looking man turning over meat skewers on a open fire and the finished ones were posted up to be purchased. Take reached into his pocket and pulled out four gold coins and a gem, all that remained of his dragons treasure.

“I thought I saw him when we came in..” she whispered, “He must’ve sneaked off.” Hana took a glance around as they walked with the group, trying to search for the boy as they went without causing a scene.

“Before we get split up, I think it is my duty to buy food for everyone,” Korim said. He had more money than Take in his pockets, because Take had spent most of his on Hana’s sword. Korim could see the rest of it now, gleaming on Take’s hand. The person running the stand was somewhat fascinated by Take’s display of wealth. Only one of those gold pieces was enough to pay for everyone’s meal.
“Is this roasted meat what everyone wants or should we go someplace else?”

@HeavensHens88 Kipp eyed the fox boy who had been so silent people were bound to forget his existence. He didn't know how he knew, but some where in the far reaches of his memory he knew Colby didn't eat meat.

"Maybe our next stop should be a pawn shop or something, so we can trade what we have for normal currency? People are giving us weird looks every time we try to buy something."
