The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Hana’s sleep was disturbed by a loud yelp in the mattress next to her. She scrunched up her nose and flopped over on her stomach to avoid the sunlight that was drowning in on her face. Until she heard yet another noise come from this individual speaking to her. She gave a groggy murmur before fluttering her eyes open in defeat. Laying flat as a board on her mattress, she took a peek at Charlie, who was squinting down at her intensively. Brother? Not uttering a word, she tossed her face back onto the mattress, returning to the dark comfortable abyss. His brother.. she started to think the best she could with the throbbing pain in the back of her head that woke with her. Hana lifted her head up a little and slid a hand up to her face, she rubbed at her eyes before engaging with Charlie again. “I think.. Kipp..? Had him? I don’t—” She clearly remembered coming across Kipp last night, holding a child, but she couldn’t remember if it was his brother or one of the other children.
Kipp scrunched his nose up at her answer. Morning person? He barely believed there was such a thing. Cam probably just got up early because she had to for school or something.

He was glad that his stomach had settled since yesterday, but her mentioning throwing up, had him wondering which poor soul at the Daikrium was given the job of cleaning up his puke.

"I don't think that would be your job." He said following her down the stairs. "And if it was, I'd help you." He frowned at the mattresses laid out across the floor in the main room. It hadn't been fully set up the night before when he headed up to bed. But there were quite a few people down here still sleeping. Charlie was the only one sitting up, and he seemed to be worried about something.

He scratched at the back of his head, realizing Take wasn't among the people sleeping on the floor.

"Were they in the room with you? Take and Blair, they came back right."
“Kipp. Right, thanks.” Charlie replied. He rubbed his eyes and thought about the difficulties of getting up. Alex is probably fine. But still...
“Ergh,” He mumbled. He got to his feet and half-heartedly patted at his hair so it didn’t stick up so much. He spun in a slow circle until he laid his eyes on Kipp. He walked towards the winged boy, being careful to not step on anybody.

(I know I read this. But I forgot it's existence. Also I don't understand. Which means Kipp doesn't understand... so... be prepared. XD )

"Behind? We'll... come back for them though... Right?" He looked at Cam tipping his head to look at her skeptically, they'd come all this way just to find them. Now she was suggesting they run off to find food and leave them behind. It didn't make sense to him. Maybe he just needed more sleep. Despite being terribly hungry the last few days the kids hadn't even been that bad. Even if they had been, leaving them behind seemed a bit excessive.
“Yeah, of course!” Cam said. “Even with people like the Rugæ, I think they’ll be safer here than on the way to Dakrium. If we take them with us, they’ll just get kidnapped again. We just need to leave some responsible people here to babysit. Who though?”

Kipp watched Charlie make his way over the mounds of sleeping bodies. Giving him a crooked smile to acknowledge him.

"Wait, what? We're going there now? I thought we were gonna get food. Of course the kids shouldn't go there. I don't even want to go there."

Kipp sighed frowning and trying not to fidget too much, as he attempted to come up with an answer. "I don't know who should stay behind. I don't really know any of the new people." Of course he knew better than to suggest Take watch the kids. He'd be more likely to get them in trouble, than to actually watch them. Where even was he? Disappearing wasn't the best example of responsible-ness, but then again, if you needed someone to get you out of trouble, Take was pretty good at that.

He'd have suggested he stay behind, he could probably watch the kids, but if Cam was going he'd be going too. There was no way he'd say behind if Cam was going to be putting herself in harms way. Kipp chewed on his lip wondering if Cam would agree to stay behind and watch the kids. She was used to babysitting, and it would keep her far far away from that horrible place.

"Maybe... Kyle?" He suggested, Kyle gave off an air of 'responsibility', but that didn't mean he'd actually be able to handle a bunch of kids. He likely wouldn't want to either.

(Juliana, Grafe, and Siena will be staying behind. Maybe Chion too, though her powers are useful. Let me know if you'd like Vies to come along.)

“That’s a good idea,” Cam said. (Yeah Kyle is not going that.) “But would Kyle be physically capable of discipline?” She thought hard. “What about the Borealans? Some may want to stay here.” (Juli would probably make a great babysitter. :0

Kipp looked down at the floor, not sure what she meant by discipline and not wanting to ask. What kind of kids did she think they were anyway. As far as he had seen they were spectacular.

"They might." He said reluctantly. He didn't know if the kids would be happy staying here with people they didn't know, and who couldn't understand them. They'd had a hard enough time already. "I don't know. What do you think Charlie?"

“Huh?”
Charlie looked at Kipp, uncomprehending. He had been staring into the distance in a combination of headache and his usual distracted-ness, waiting for them to stop talking so he could make his query. “What?”

"Who do you think would be a good babysitter for the kids?" Kipp wasn't sure there was any one person that would do. If the rest of them failed, they'd probably never be coming back. That would also mean that they would never get back home.

Whoever was going to stay behind to take care of the kids would have a lot of responsibility shoved on them. To be instantly incharge of that many kids, possibly for forever was a lot to ask.

“Uhh-” Charlie looked around, as if trying to get suggestions from the sleeping people around them. Not me, I lost my brother and that was only one kid. He thought somewhat glumly.
“Anyone that doesn’t have a hangover?” He offered, smiling a bit at the thought. Definitely not me.
“Hey, have you seen my brother? He’s about this tall and annoying as hell.” Charlie gestured with his hand to show the approximate height of Alex.

Kipp grimaced looking skeptically around at the sleeping semi-adults all still sleeping quite heavily. Charlies suggestion would take them down to practically nobody. He hadn't seen Kyle with anything though so he was apparently everyone's top choice.

"Oh, he's upstairs with all the other kids." He said pointing a thumb over his shoulder toward the hallway they'd just come from. "They were all pretty exhausted last night."
