The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Great idea,” Cam said. “Wait. When is Friday? Hasn’t Friday already happened?” How many days have passed again? Six?

That’s the most of Charlie I’ve ever seen,
thought Cam. He was usually almost invisible hiding in his sweatshirt, or all the way invisible. Maybe he’s getting over his insecurities.
"Uhhh, I don't know how long I was gone." He answered frowning into space as he tried to count up how many days it had been. "Is it today?" Kipp cleared his throat shrugging, trying to come up with something on the spot, and successfully failing. "I'll get back to you then, unless you'd like to help me murder Fred." He scowled over at the counter where Fred and Colby had snuck off to. "Murder's the perfect thing to bond over." He muttered, mostly to himself.

(This is great and exactly what I meant to convey XD)
Nat whistled her approval from the battered mattress she'd unintentionally plummeted down onto. Walking was overrated, anyway. "Nice tactic," she said, while mentally cataloging the very useful fact of the value that Charlie had invested within his jacket. "I'd ease up a little on the radiant desperation, though. I'm getting hammered with it even over here."
Charlie looked around, not seeing Nat at first. He then spotted her splayed out on a mattress. He walked over and squatted by her. “Ok, buddy.” He said, trying hard to resist the urge to roast this child.
“You aren’t in the condition to judge me.” He joked, giving her a crooked grin.

Sets of heavy footsteps soon appeared outside the tavern, they were no where near orderly or formal as the individuals dragged their feet ominously. Each step was followed by some sort of grunt or stretched out groan before they stopped right in front of the doors.

A weary but weighted fist pounded into the old flimsy and creaky door to the tavern, demanding a prompt entrance from those inside.

That’s when a body fell through, face planting harshly onto the wooden floorboards as the door swung open abruptly.

An ‘oof’ escaped the body, which was easy to identify as Take, who’s whereabouts were unknown until now. With Take’s log of a body propping the door open, the person who accompanied him was obviously Blair, who was terribly disheveled and haggard from her long night out. It seemed they were simply clinging onto one another to provide upright stability until Take slipped through. It’s unsure what occurrence took place between them once they reunited at the river, but they were luckily still in one piece. Though fortunate for their group mates, Take and Blair no longer held those volatile characteristics that simply didn’t belong to them.

Without moving a muscle in his stiffened state on the floor, Take let out a guttural “Good morning”

Cam wheeled as two bodies entered the room, bodies with a slow-enough walk to be threatened. That’s when she saw the faces.
Kyle entered the room, walking calmly beside Rylie. He didn’t seem at all frightened by Take and Blair’s presence.
“Take,” he affirmed. “Is Blair all right? Does she require assistance?”
Cam, meanwhile, was overcome by emotions. “Ohmygosh are you two all right?” She asked. She felt really terrible about the fact that she had completely forgotten about the fact that they had left to do the ‘werewolf business.’

Blair didn't even have the energy to look down at Take when he face planted. White knuckled fists clung to the doorframe, fists which had once been clinging to the now fallen Take.
Her memory was a wild blur. The stars, the trees, the we-sa. The blood, pain, and horrible, horrible screaming. None of it made sense- a jumbled mess of wolf and human thoughts, thrown together with little to no coherency.
Voices reached her ears, but they were faded. Echoing. Dreamlike, like she wasn't quite conscious. But she knew she was, she could still feel the ache in her side, still feel the wood beneath her palms.
"I'm fine." The steadiness of her voice was terrifying for her condition as she pushed herself upright, swaying on unsteady feet. "Had worse. Will live. I'm fine."

If she’s had worse, well... that’s terrible, Kyle thought. “I apologize for your life so far, then,” he said.
“Do you need help getting up?” Cam asked Take, asking for permission because she was afraid of what Blair would do if she grabbed his hand. What if she was one of those “jealous girlfriend” types?

Shortly after conversing with Charlie, (if you call mumbling and slurring a few words at a time a conversation) Hana quickly fell back to sleep, snoring peacefully again until a large thud hit the ground and shook the floor beneath her mattress. She took it as a clear sign that it was time to get her lazy butt up and exist amongst the group. Hana gave a long yawn and scrambled up from where she laid. Shuffling towards the commotion like an old granny, she rubbed her eyes to process the human figure that laid flat on the floor. “Is he... dead?” she questioned immediately, still retaining her neutral tone. Hana knelt down beside Take, eyeing the rise and fall of his back to confirm that he was still breathing. Though it didn’t seem he was conscious as he wasn’t attempting to move or speak.

Kipp stared at the two in shock, Take, unmoving laying face down on the floor, and Blair who was somehow standing with what looked like a gaping hole in her side. Maybe it wasn't that bad, since she was standing, but with the amount of blood that soaked her shirt it looked bad.

They'd been gone all night, and he hadn't thought anything of it. It was normal enough for them to want to be on their own, and not stuck here babysitting with the rest of them. What had happened? Where had they gone? Was it an accident, or had someone attacked them, or something?

If going outside at night at all, meant risking getting hurt, how were they supposed to leave here?

He shook his head, realizing he shouldn't just be standing there in a fearful daze, and followed Cam to help her drag Take to the nearest mattress. Displacing Nat who had the misfortune of being it's occupant.

(Blair has a wound? Gosh, I really get lost in long posts)
“There you go,” Cam said, patting the mattress and pulling the blanket up to his chest.
