Sounds like it's time to randomly introduce something. Just cause they live in the "real world" doesnt mean they're in the exact same world as us. Or that the same things are happening. In their world over these 3 months Olim could have sent all kinds of things through the portal.

Hehe, maybe some one can spot a Jumanji board game in the basement and have completely random things start happening.

I never really expanded on what her powers were, but maybe some one with powers similar to Siena's is making them all imagine that they are where they are.
