I would be careful about believing everything that is posted on the Internet.

You are so wrong on this as was this guy.

Yep, that red bird and his green lady friend have been camped out at the hives gobbling up bees... I’ve seen him eat the big red wasps in the past ... but not as many as I wish ...

When he scoops up a bee he does take it to a limb and fidgets with it before eating it...

I’ve deputized the cat and shown her photos of the bee murderers ... but she’s been on a vole killing spree... and doesn’t seem to have any interest in slaying the bee murderers yet 🤨

I thought I caught a robin picking off my bees a few weeks ago, could be the same one stopping me from using my boat.

But then I remembered people saying Robins eat worms not bees... so I felt better.

I checked on my bees today, when most of them should have been out gathering nectar for me.

The hive was packed.

I found these and they concern me slightly.

The above one shows the best how much bigger they are

I can’t have a hive ready to swarm yet, can I? I have only had them a little over 6 weeks.

Also I have a bunch of bees in my wild plums that have black butts. I know the picture is poor, but they look like black butt honey bees.

There were two varieties of bumblebees in the plums and some small bee about the size of a flying ant.
