You are probably not afraid of them. I swear they can smell fear on a person.I never have any problems with bumble bees. I can even pet them without any issues. Of course, I don't use hair spray and they have no interest in my aroma.

What R2 says below.. that's what I was going to say. There is no way that hair that does not get washed but every 3 to 6 months does not smell bad without some kind of additive.
Has to be!
I believe this wholeheartedly.
I have always use a lot of hairspray and when a bee buzzes me and won't leave me alone..they are always buzzing my head.![]()
I used to play with wasps when I was a kid. They die easily too. Nowadays, I just swat them and then step on them when they hit the ground.I wouldn't be worried about a slapping a bee.
But wasps are harder to kill!
And those red wasps around here are so mean!
In my head and on my head are two different things.Pssst. Weirdo..
Isn't there something buzzing inside your head most the time?
Lol, yes, but those thousands will be pissed no matter if you put a wig near the hive or not, every bee that can be distracted seems like it would be 1 bee that is less likely to bother you. I mean, if you're opening the hive anyway and riling them all up...
You must have fragile northie wasp that are already half dead. You got to stomp these on a hard surface and do the twist for a good 30 seconds to kill these suckers. I will make it more inclusive then and ask ;In my head and on my head are two different things.
No, I grew up in SW PA. I know for a fact that wasps can bite. I watched as they swiveled their heads around and took little chunks out of my thumb. You must have fragile northie wasp that are already half dead.
