I caught all that part. I figured that if someone happened to come along as curious as I was in this thing.

If I had known about the invite deal, I would have clicked on someone else's link.
I tried adding everyone that had listed their user names to my friend list but most of them would not come up over there.

Yes, it's cheating and is generally considered to be pretty bad for the site. I strongly advise you to delete all but one account as soon as possible.
