i have so many horses :/ it takes me about an hour to take care of all of them and I am expecting quite a few foals in the next few days

You probably know this, but you don't need to care for every horse daily. The horse won't lose health if it isn't being worked with at all.

Sending them to Safe Haven will give you less money than you'd get for selling them at 500e. I recommend making their prices really, really low and selling them.
