I have a couple, did them for a wee bit.
Coverings were just so expensive and hard to get when I was trying, that was like a year and half ago. From what I can see now, they look to have come down a wee bit.

My solotion? fertility wands and lightning bolts. Since twiins are always two girls, I switch one. So I get threee breeding pairs out of one donkey.
The work I am doing with my team on there comes down to this: Making the more realistic features of the game more accessable to non-pass-buyers like us. Donkeys and rarer breeds should not have a pass factor when buying, and we've set out to eliminate it. We are not a prix or GP team, we are a team that sort of goes in the exact oppisite direction. The issue is we won't make much passes, and we need 5 VIP members to have a full team, which we need.

It is definitely more suited to pass buyers, more so the past year even than last.
I might start up my donkeys again. Well, probably start over with them What I have I've had for a while now. lol

I'm on international and I breed and sell fjords, gypsy vanners, lustinos.
In my center form I set up a ordering form , 1 for gypsy vanners and 1 for lustinos, my user name is 13mouses. Check it out. My fjords when I get to breeding and selling I'm selling them for 10k for geldings 15k for mares 15k for stallions.

We are just setting up at this point. We will never be a top ranking team, but I am hoping we can significantly lower donkey and rare-ish breed (Like highland ponies and fjords)  prices. We are in a breeding stage, not a selling stage a this point. 

Nobody will ever beat the giant Kwpn and Lusi teams, unfortunately.
Sounds awesome though! So many lesser known and rarer breeds are just kinda filtering out.

It's possible to beat the giant teams. Pretty sure Arabians used to be #1, and then some solo player beat them by breeding Purebred Spanishes.

Well, with our multiple breeding projects, our lack of BLUPing knowledge, and our lack of resources at our fingertips that not buying passes brings, we are never going to beat the top teams in statistics. But with nine active members and counting, don't be surprised if you see 6000 equus 2 month old female donkeys around. And cheaper ponies (why are all the ponies expensive?), and breeds that are usually reserved for teams because of price (Hanoverians, freisans,KWPNs, ect) around in direct sales at much more reasonable prices.

PS--just about anyone trustworthy who agrees that donkeys, ect should be available to non-pass-buyers is welcome to join. We don't have deadlines, we only require positive BLUP, and we don't have production minimums. We cannot function the way most teams do if we want to lower prices.
