The hunting/fishing thread!

Hey everyone! I am from northern Minnesota and love hunting and fishing.
I hunt deer, grouse, turkey, duck and travel to Montana to elk hunt. I fish here and there to.

Grouse hunting is fun. the best way to hunt grouse is to drive around on gravel roads and look for them at the edge of the road. make sure the roads are surrounded by forest. It is easy and yeilds some tasty meat. I guess it could be considered not hunting but i find it fun. you can also go hunting for grouse by walking through brush.

Grouse hunting is a lot of fun. We hunt out on some woods we own and the dogs will scare them up so we can shoot them.

okay fellow grouse/upland hunters got to ask, what do you use to hunt them?

my family farm down south in my province we like to use shotguns on the sharp tail grouse and grey partridges

but on our land up north, we use .22 rifles for ruffed grouse and spruce grouse.
