We didn’t make it out this morning but going to take shotguns tomorrow too. Deer in the morning then on to the other property in the afternoon (if no deer down) to squirrel hunt and check hanging stands/sticks

Hello! 😁 I’m happy to see there’s still people kicking around on this thread! Hopefully as soon as flounder season opens we can go again, went dove hunting and got 1😂 this is Florida, we do not go dove hunting to shoot dove, we kick back, relax on 5 gal. Buckets, and compare shotguns, and mainly make fun of people who bring decoys and shoot lots of dove🤣🤣

thanks to mr muddy at least we aren’t going home empty-handed 😂 saw several deer this morning but they have changed trails again this year and were out of shot range over my right shoulder and behind me. We scouted a couple new trees for next few weeks while still enough leaves to use stands. Hanging stands at the other property still holding steady!!!! I didn’t see any squirrels there but mr muddy found a few in the thickets close to the corn field!

Deer season starts in 34 hours !

I made a couple changes to my stand. Got rid of my propane heater replacing it with a completely silent electric heater which is thermostat controlled.

I added a upper level linen closet to keep my cushions and extra clothing dry.

I am using a doe decoy this year for the first time. I will send you pictures of it Saturday. It is resting comfortably under a pine tree until then.

My state non- inspected outlet.
