The huntress died *UPDATE*

Rooster, that is heartbreaking. Poor sweet babies. Bonded so strongly in life, they couldn't be separated by death. You should write a book about it.

And people tell us we're crazy in my adoption group, when we refuse to break up bonded pairs. Sometimes two cats just connect, and it would be cruel to separate them.

My cat Griffin was a foster cat, until I decided he and my Tygre were too close to be taken from each other.

I've had cats since before I could even spell cat and I've never seen anything like this.

I miss them.

I'm having trouble keeping my keyboard dry.

I'm so sorry Red. At least they're together now in heaven. :aww

I just read this. Rooster, I am so very sorry your cat had to go thru that mourning for his best friend. I had parakeets do that. Just know this one thing, they are together again and neither are in no kind of pain. They may visit home from time to time, also.
I'm sorry that you have to mourn two friends. It's so hard to have to go thru the grieving, I'm sorry, and I do feel your pain. You didn't try in vain. You tried because you loved them, and that is the true reason.

Im sorry Rooster Red that sucks. How cold does it get there? I would lean more towards poisoning than freezing. I lost my favorite cat Jasper over the pet food thing from China, he looked like a miniture black lion. He and Slyvester brought in ALOT of birds, rats, mice, squirrels and once a teddy bear. Still don't know who or where that bear came from.
