((Thanks, I could almost feel their emotions pouring off of it when I reread it.

Anise knew the situation was uncomfortable for Rin, it would be for anyone, it was for herself. So she mentally calmed herself, pulled herself together, and stopped crying. She wiped her eyes, and breathed deeply, "I'm so sorry you had to see that, Rin, I should have just apologized to him and that would be that," Her voice was a bit hoarse, but she tried not to sound like she felt, abandoned, just like she had felt during those years in foster care, "I shouldn't have tried to force him to change, I'm such an idiot. I'm so sorry Rin."

Rin stared at her. Even for someone as tactless as her, she knew Anise shouldn't be apologizing. She sat down next to her. "Anise, don't apologize to me. You're not an idiot, and you have the right to be mad. It's not your fault." Okay, not very eloquent, but the sentiment was correct. It might even sound right.

Anise gave her friend a forced smile, "Thanks, Rin, I really appreciate it," and she truly did mean it, though she had trouble believing it.

Anise looked up towards the open study, and tried to turn the mood to a lighter one, "Well, at least he didn't find us looting around in his personal arsenal." She said with a laugh that didn't feel right in her mouth, not realizing that she had just outed Aspen, people where not supposed to have that many weapons...

Rin blicked, "His personal what?" Personal arsenal? Was she serious? I think I like the plants better. I don't think this is heading anywhere good…

Violet meddled with her phone for a minute, then the police left, sirens blaring. She grinned mischievously and climbed into their ride.

Lexa laugh, "OMG, I so thought you were going to run out there or something!" She said as she two climbed into the hover-car, starting it up with a push of a button, and pulling out of the large garage through one of the roll up doors, starting off down the street to the warehouse.

"Personal arsenal, he doesn't call it that or anything, but it's like a arsenal, there are loads of guns and stuff." Anise conformed, her voice starting to return to normal, not knowing she was digging her brother his metaphorical grave...

Violet shrugged. "I could have just shot them, but that would be messy. Plus, I like explosives better."

"Yeah, I was thinking grenades, I haven't used them for away, and I've been itching to." Lexa replied as if speaking about killing and blowing things up was normal.

Violet raised an eyebrow. "Are you serious? Grenades? Here? That wouldn't help, it'd just attract more attention. I just sent a couple charges on the other side of town. Enough to cause panic, enough to distract the cops, but not enough to cause too much damage."

Lexa laughed, "Calm down, I have self control, just 'cause I wanna do it, doesn't mean I will. I just like grenades." Lexa turned down a back road, then another, and finally to the back alley behind the warehouse.
