I would not open the incubator with pipping going on. It’s just day 21. Your humidity is good at 65% . I personally wouldn’t go higher but others may have better advice. I’ve read on here to just “ sit on our hands and wait. “ good luck!Day 21
Temp: 37.6
Humidity:65%
Should I raise the humidity a little bit? I have two pips so far and one is about to zip. Should have a chick by tomorrow!
Egg 2: Nothing new
Egg 4: Nothing new
Egg 5: Pipped
Egg 6: Nothing new
Egg 7: Pipped, about to zip I think!
I’m so excited for you! I just had 3 eggs in mine. 1st pipped and zipped perfectly, second “ child” egg became shrink wrapped by my doing ( by accident) -opening incubator when 2nd chick had already started zipping! So I had to assist her hatching. It’s a tough, hard, precise thing to do but I watched on here how to hatch assist and by golly I did it! She is tiniest so far . I named them Holly and Bernadette. Awaiting third egg to pip. She’s alive. I candled her this am at 2 and she’s internally pipped but slow going... 2 days behind others. If she isn’t zipped by tomorrow I’ll recandle and if no movement.... we’ll you know.I would not open the incubator with pipping going on. It’s just day 21. Your humidity is good at 65% . I personally wouldn’t go higher but others may have better advice. I’ve read on here to just “ sit on our hands and wait. “ good luck!
Yay!!!!!First chick! The other is zipping right now! So far 1 chick, 1 zip, no activity from other 3.
