@AustralorpsAU, it looks like you and I might be doing another Blue Australorp hatch soon, but this next time I will also have some of the Splash ones in there too!

Except there is only a couple that he is fertilising. I don't think he is covering the older hens... but that being said, I will try in two weeks time or so

Well, you could always check an egg from the older hens to see. Flash sure went after my older hens quick!

All the hens ones ive cracked open so far are not
I had 3 out of 4 fertile from my young roo. We will see in a week if any hatch!

Hope they do. Is that 3 out of 4 when candling or when checking fertility?
 
I have a barnyard mix lol a rir roo I rescued in with a coupletter new Hampshire reds and a welsummer. I also put 7 eggs in that are from my pen that has my white leghorn roo in with a mixture off girls including 2 ees so nothing fancy but could be fun
 
After tossing so many clears/scrambled eggs yesterday I totally caved and ordered some penciled Wyandotte bantam eggs they are so beautiful!!!
