I was eating a muffin earlier and noticed my RIR got out. I went outside ant took her back to the coop....and dropped my muffin in the mud

So did she get the muffin after it did a mud dive?

Yes there was no saving it. It became a sacrificial muffin to lure the rest of the chickens into the coop
