Umm... It's worse than the flu. The flu kills about .1% of those it infects. COVID19 kills about 1.4-2.5% of those infected. These stay at home orders are intended to keep the infection rate low enough that hospitals are not overwhelmed with patients who need critical care and to hopefully break the infection cycle.Shelves are empty here. No bread, eggs, milk, canned goods or pasta. There's also a problem with the supply chain for some stores causing shortages in certain products. Agreed that 'social distancing' is impossible with everyone rushing to stock up on supplies. My mom and grandma who are from Russia are being transported back to their days in the Soviet Union where people had money but there was nothing to buy. It's frightening what a reaction everyone is having over this when it is hardly as bad as the flu!
It is particularly bad for people with compromised immune systems (think people going through chemo, HIV positive, diabetic, etc).
Your property, yes. If you go out, you should try to keep 6' away from other people, cough into your elbow or sleeve, keep contact to a minimum.I understand shelter in place meaning to your property? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong as i'm not sure?
