The khaki-Campbell duck Thread !!!!!!!!

I have read around and haven't found a real answer so I will ask here. About what age can you tell a female from a male KC? I have 3 that I picked up at TSC about a month ago and I was wondering how soon I should be able to tell their sex.
They will mature at their own pace but you should see a drake feather somewhere around 15-20 weeks of age. Voice change happened first with mine. The drake will develop a raspy sort of quack while the females will quack like the Aflac duck. Also, the bill on the drake will begin to lighten usually before they develop their drake feather.

Those are adorable babies!

Nope, he's definitely not a KC. Cayuga mix? The little yellow tips on his wings are definitely different!

This is my first time with ducks & chickens. We have 9 chickens (3 RIR, 2 Araucanas, 2 Black Jersey Giants, 1 Black Australorp & 1 Isa Brown) and 8 ducks (3 Peking, 3 Rouen & 2 Khaki Campbell) all just shy of 4 weeks old. I noticed yesterday that the smallest KC has been pulling feathers out of all the other ducks and nipping at the chicks. Is this normal or aggressive behavior? Thanks for the help :)

I don't have time to read the whole thread my ducks are almost 5weeks old and don't have any feathers is this normal or is it because they had a rough Start?

Ok so I shouldn't be worried I know they've grown tremendously in the last week ....they are still chirping no quacks yet any idea what age they star quaking I would love to officially name them but have no idea what sex they are I have 5 my daughter named the darkest Ella because she was the littlest when we got them now she's the 2nd biggest and I named mutt big one weeble because when they had their niacin deficiency he would wobble a little when he (it) walked so I call it weebles wobbles but he won't fall down lol

I was wondering when I could let my ducklings outside to play for an hour or so what temp does it need to be outside before I can do this?

My 2 are 3 wks old and it was in the 70s here yesterday I let them play outside for about an hour and they loved it. I think yours should be fine as long as its warm outside. I would make sure to bring some water cuz I didnt think of that and had to get some when one started panting.

So sweet! They are about 2 months old now.
