The khaki-Campbell duck Thread !!!!!!!!

Pics
I let mine out about 4wks, when its warm, or when their mammas take them out. I have babies hatched under my Khaki, they're 4-5 wks, but they've been out for at least 2+ weeks. Their mom decided it was time for them, not me. Actually I think foraging is really really good for them early on, I had a runner with leg issues until she started ranging. Then the issue went away. But I agree, I don't really leave mine out when I'm away either.

My chickens are out all day from sunrise to sundown. Whether I'm home or away. These khaki campbells however are sooooo fast! They've gotten out of their pen a couple of times and chasing them down to get them back in was not fun at all - especially in the rain! LOL Maybe I'll give it a go this weekend while I am home and I don't have to worry about being anywhere at a certain time like I do during the week with my son being in school and stuff. This way I'll be home and keep an eye on them. They were a month old Wednesday.

Hello,
Four weeks ago, I bought a litle brown duckling without knowing the variety of duck he was.
From the begining I sospected he could be a khaki campbell but im not sure.
What do you think???

Thanks, linzy, mine is growing so fast, and its very nervous because he is always looking for something to eat!!!
I hope when he grows up he would be a khaki campbell hen!!!
Regards Mario

The other day an spanish duck breeder said that my little and brown duckling could be a rouen duck
And he send me a photo:
