Here are my 4 Khaki Campbells. I was told that the older ones (about 9-10 weeks) are female and am sure one is (she quacks). I have heard the quack but when I am around they all just mumble to each other!! Hoping!! One has the green colour to its beak and the other has the blue colouring.......can this be different sex??

The other 2 came from another person and I am wondering if this is an example of the colour sexlinked thing that people are talking about? They are just getting there chest feathers. The one in the rear is brown down and the one in the front is more grey down. If it is which one is the female and which is the male?

And, are either looking to get a Khaki Campbell drake, or wanting to get rid of their khaki Campbell hen? I've got a drake, he was born around Easter (bought from farm store). I would like a hen to go with him. Please if you're in the area and interested please PM, and we will go from there.

Does anyone know if a drake's beak is always yellowish in color like the one pictured on this site?

Just asking because I have three KCs, all of which I think are female. However I have one that has a different beak color, it's definitely a yellowish/greenish color like the one pictured on this site. So do I have a drake?

I'd have to look again, but I'm pretty sure that all of my KCs' beaks are brown. Drake included.

Good morning folks

I'm all for natural watering but Mother Nature needs
to turn off spigot for a few days

I started mowing the lawn after waiting for it to dry
enough from all the rain from the previous day........

just about the time I was nearly finished with the
backyard the clouds converged on me and opened
up providing a 'beat-you-to-a-pulp' shower.....

....I gave up after I finished the backyard. I came in to dry
off and shortly after the rain stopped

The grass dried enough to try to mow again so out I went
and started again.....this time on the front.........and yep.....

......started raining again

............. I just gave up
for the day......I'm wondering if I can make it rain today
