The khaki-Campbell duck Thread !!!!!!!!

Pics
Are all khakis super skittish or just mine?  I got a Khaki and a Swedish, they are about 4 weeks old now...despite interacting with them a couple of times a day they both still act like we are going to eat them for dinner any time we come near...and we've had them 3 weeks!

Mine are 9 weeks old and still do the same thing. They will tollerate my presence when I'm giving them treats, as long as I stand still. The moment I take a step they are running for cover.

I'm glad it's not just us. We got ours when they were 5 weeks old, they are now 8 weeks old and I thought it was because we didn't have them as babies. Hopefully it gets better after they start laying maybe they will calm down.

Mine are almost a yr old now and are the same way. They will come eat mealworms out of my hand if I'm bent down, but if I move, their gone.

My muscovy follows me around like a dog, wagging his tail and lets me pet him and pick him up. Stays right with my husband when he's out.

Mine are 16 weeks and will eat peas from my hand if I don't move. Once the peas are gone back to the hills they go. My son raised them in his closet and they even run from him. I'm hoping they calm down at some point.

Well hopefully I have a rare on too! My girl has turned out to be the head honcho she is definitely trying to put my new ducklings in their place! Is it normal for the head honcho to be a female?
