Sorry, pretty sure KC don't have the white & blue on wings Rouen females do.Turned my half dozen two month old KCs loose to forage ect with scovy bantam Americana and silver dwarf rabbits. hope they have or learn like rest to stay close to and in my dogs territory like rest have (it seems to stop cars going by seeing them all follow one of the dogs around, when preds around. of course they all scatter when i try to snap a pic and that they love the dogs when dogs do chase them on occasion for fun, but act terrified of me when i fed and cared for them inside for month. Extremely Stupid seeming, but Beautiful and neat to watch frantically scamper around (they run not waddle) like swarm or school, were my scovy just mosey along in lines. some have white lines and between them blue patches,on each side of wings..??? choosing male breeder advice anyone?
Where are you located?Watched the vid on sexing of the KCs, by Metzlers, and I tried it out on George, my little KC.....I think I have a Georgia, which is great, but now I'll only have 1 drake for 6 hens. If my one drake meets with some ill fate, I'll be drake-less. Not good. No one around here has KC ducks, so getting a single drake duck for the flock will be problematic.
Just gotta keep the little male that is coming in the male all hale and hearty until I can breed more KCs.
This is on of my little ones who came to chill out inside for a little while.
