does he love lettuce? if so i would sit out side let him roam around and ignore him put lettuce around you feet so he comes to you to get it and then the next time try holding the lettuce and don't give him unless he comes and gets it.......

none of my ducks are personable at all, I didn't work with them as babes. The chickens, that's different. My wife steps out the back door and they come a running and flapping. They see her as the treat lady. haha, she has spoiled all the critters.

I have 7 khakis.... 3 boys and 4 girls. One girl has been giving us one egg a day for about 2 weeks. Today we got one but it was about the size of a quail egg. When do the other females start laying? Do I have too many males? Please help!

Sounds like they start laying around 5 months old. I had 2 female Peking ducks and when they first started laying i found all different kinds of eggs some seemed super big others small and some with soft shells and a few times one laid two eggs so you my wanna do a little more research because i don't have as much exp. as many others. hope that helps

Your khaki looks like a drake. He looks like my drake, how old is he/she? Around 6-8 months some tail feathers will curl and that means it's a male and females don't have the tail feathers curl.
