i used to hate them but now that I have a pump to help me with them it really isn't that bad. and 2/5 of my tanks don't need water changes and just topped off so it isn't too horrible

no. so the reason I don't have to change the water is because there are tons of pothos that I grow hydroponically in the two tanks and they suck out all of the bad stuff. That plus evaporation just causes the water to need topped off somewhat frequently
