~*~The Kingdoms of Vendale RP~ Warning! High Standards! PM To Join!~*~

(Oh XD When i reread that, it made more sense XD but can you work with it?)

(Sure…say she wanted to come with Fergus?)

The king nodded, "If you're feeling up to it, please do. I'll get a horse ready for you."

(Hey guys, if anybody wants my character, they are free to have him. I've got college and other stuff, so I don't have much time or interest in RPing anymore. Anywho, thanks.

(Aw, bye! Good luck!!!)

Adara blushed a tiny bit, why couldn't she just be quiet? Adara squeezed her hands even tighter on her clothing. "i just don't want anything bad to happen to my position. And no im not new here, im the chefs apprentice." i took up my mothers position after she died, you may have heard of her, her name was Madara." Adara smiled a small smile with sweet memories of her mother.

"Oh," said William, "I'm sorry for your loss."

"thank you your highness." she said, trying to get away now. "If you'll excuse me i will be going now, i have your meal to help fix." she said still not looking at him, just staring at a spot on the ground next to him. She still had a little bit till she had to be back in the kitchen, but she didn't want to be near him any longer. He sounded nice but she would to be fooled by some prince and lose her position in the palace. I will not be like Mira.

(ooh, back-story's coming!)

Alieen ran up to keep pace with him, unslinging her bow which she had unstrung before she got to the city. When they reached the stables, she braced one end of the bow in a leather loop on her boot to string it. She was trying to hurry and fumbled, almost making the bow go flying before she finally got it under control. She did a cursory check of the string and looked around for the king.

(Huzzah! Backstory!)

"Your welcome…?" William's voice trailed off slightly at the end. She had acted quite strangely.

Sean shoved him, "Come on, Will. Stop gazing longingly and let's get back to me winning."

William rolled his eyes and stabbed Sean playfully, "You wish."

(I'm going to make Sean official in a minute. I'm having a good time with him…)

Fergus walked towards her leading a shaggy, sturdy black pony, "This is Monk. He's quite gentle."

Alieen nodded her thanks. She had never ridden before, this would prove to be good experience. She glanced around, trying to find where the saddles were.

Fergus stopped her with a gentle but firm hand on her shoulder. He saddled and bridled the pony, then went to get his own horse, a sturdy chestnut named Calder.

Alieen prepared herself to swing up onto the saddle but stopped, holding out her hand for the horse to sniff. She could feel it's nose snuffling around her hand before Monk snorted slightly. She then ran her hand along the horse's muzzle, then pulled herself onto the saddle. She had seen people ride horses, and so knew the basics. She turned her horse towards the entrance and gently spurred it forwards, out into the open. She then waited for the King (It feels weird saying the King every time) moving away from the door.

(LOL)

Calder trotted ahead. Fergus lead Alieen to a group of guards, then turned to her. "Your turn, young lady. Lead the way."

Alieen didn't look towards the king or the guards, before setting off, at a canter, it wasn't too far, but who knows? She didn't want to tire the horses out too much. Maybe there were signs of where whoever had done this had gone, but at the time she had just been too panicked to check. She rode quickly towards the outskirts of town, not liking to be in the middle of it and wove through the trees, heading towards the spot where she remembered seeing the dead horse. When they arrived, Alieen pulled off to the side, feeling slightly sick to her stomach. That poor horse.
