The Kitchen Table - come sit with us! new request added to post 1!

Note #31 - Would you consider you consider your bedroom a sanctuary or a wilderness?

Definitely a wilderness. We repainted it last year, and I still haven't gotten around to putting all the pictures back up on the walls.

Plus, I'm sleepin' on a bedspring on the floor because SOMEBODY didn't finish refinishing the bedframe yet! I'm not holding my breath on when I'll get around to refinishing my secretary desk, either. I'd just stick it in and live with a beat-up desk, but I'm already half-done.

Good, I guess, and I've gotten a lot better at the whole putting-stuff-away thing, but most of the time the bedroom is still a horror zone.

do you think it affects how you feel about the day? I hate that mine is so bad. I know I would feel better if I had a tidy room.

PK, what's the theme for your new room?

The theme is brown and white. :3

So far, I've spent my day reading and looking at history-related comics. How've you spent it?

It's a wilderness...both the wife and I have a trail that we follow to our own side of the bed and once we reach it, we've found our sanctuary!

mine is both. it is very large. 27x13 with a 13x13 master bath to match. it has a solid dark chocolate wall and cafe au lait other walls. it has 4 large windows and a full pane glass door to the back deck.. it also has full glass double doors to enter. it is a cabin themed house. this is the fall view from my bed..

I think next year it's gonna be Friday the 13th

Our room is sometimes both I guess. It's junky and not very relaxing to look at, but it IS a pretty good hidey-hole to retreat to if you turn out the lights.

I came here to learn about chickens, and only a couple days into posting find THIS. HALLELUJAH. This might be what's wrong with me (among other things!!!!).

Sorry...old post, and I didn't even knock politely, but the screen door was open, and I brought bagels....

LOL! Oh yes, I'm happy to blame all of my daily turmoils on peri-menopause

It IS nice to hear about others having the same issues. When I read about the "hormone anxiety attacks," it actually made me happy to hear it from another's lips (via typed text of course...lol). Because it sure does make one feel a little crazy sometimes. I know some dread menopause, but I'll be thrilled when all of THIS is kaputz!

And I didn't knock either; apologies. Can I have a bagel anyway???

Hey! What fun! There are people sitting at the table this morning.

Perimenopause.... I just try not to kill anyone when I'm feeling grumpy. So far, so good.

eta - I had to go back to find the posts you quoted. Yikes! They were on pages 4 and 5.

Glad you found us. And you brought snacks!!!!

PK will love you!
