feel free to pull up a chair. just remember to keep those coop shoes off the table!
The table has gotten a bit dusty in the last few weeks. Noncentzer and PK have stopped by (Ranchie, too!) I've been busy getting ready for the end of the school year, and going to Chickenstock (
great fun!) so I haven't been here as much as I'd like.
Passing by, and thought I would drop in for coffee. I guess since Orpington Manor has been so busy lately I'll have to help dust the table.
I have been busy too, and that's why I haven't been around much. Today my 12 year old is home sick so I took the day off, and it is cold and rainy so the best thing to do is catch up on what's happening on BYC.
I'm here with my dust cloth to clean the table. My school year is over for the summer.
Orp, find something beautiful to look at every day. Such as the sun rise. Smell some fragrant flowers. Keep busy with friends, and also give yourself some grieve time.

I'll agree with PK and add friends. Good friends help make the hard times bearable and it enhances the friendship at the same time. I'll raise my glass of wine and make a toast to Friends!!
I will think of you today Steffanie. I will send you friendship vibes.
Stay strong and hug chickens when you get home.
When is your last day of school? Mine was the 4th.
I am going to work a summer position from July 1-29th though.
First time I ever applied for a summer position.
Ya'll are going to have to pour me an extra cup of coffee. This is my first time working in the school system (I'm a Social Worker), so I'm really looking forward to some time off. 9 days out of 10 I have had to drag my kicking, whining three year old out of bed at 6am to get him to daycare in time for me to be at school by 7. So what does he do the first day I don't have to be there early (yesterday I worked, but no kids at school)? Wakes me up at 5:30!! And today, the first day of summer vaccation - 4:45 he is up asking to watch Blues Clues!! WHAT THE.........???
