I try really hard to remember to use my reusable bags when I go shopping. If I forget them, the stores around here only have plastic, but I always recycle the plastic ones at the local recyclying center.

Note #6: It seems that every store i go to has ONLY plastic..i wish they would bring back paper bags. So..i guess i'd have to say plastic...

So how many plastic trees die for plastic bags?

Poor things.

I TRY to take my canvas sailing bags, but sometimes I forget. Like the rest of ya'll, I reuse or recycle.

I use the store mesh bags they sell for 99 cents each and they credit you 2 cents at the end of your shopping order for each bag used. I just have to remember to bring them back out to the car so we can use them next time. If we forget, then we use the plastic bags for kitty litter clean up and for the small waste paper baskets in the bathrooms. I also save the plastic bread bags, english muffins bags etc for the kitty litter job.

I like all my cool trees and bushes that bring so many beautiful birds in the spring. Until I moved here five years ago, I had never seen so many obscure birds. I never used to think of myself as a birdwatcher, but now, I sit for hours looking out the window with my Audubon Guide by my side.
