The Kitchen Table - come sit with us! new request added to post 1!

my walk today was more of a stroll, but it was in a beautiful place with two BYCers whom I had never met before, so that makes up for the quiet pace. tomorrow, I will hike up the hill again. (especially because I had pizza today, and will be having ice cream.

So glad you had a nice walk today, when I read the invite this morning, I was tempted to jump in car and try to find that park. I looked it up online, and it has horse trails too, so I emailed the link to my sister!

Orp, I too have chicks coming on April 29th...........80....My daughter will be sharing. I think I did something smart, I told her I would pay for the chicks and feed if she would brood them..I do get to go visit. The mistake I made was to let the Grandkids help pick them out. Hatchery had a 5 chick minimum per type. Therefore 80 chicks. This should prove interesting and fun to say the least. Dh and I are busy building pens and houses. As if this wasn't bad enough I bought 6 golden campines and a pair of silver campines (10 mos old) . They are sure a pretty bird. Large white egg for a smallish hen. I think I'm going to turn in ya'll. Good night.

I had to google campine. Very interesting.
Now, do you have 16 grandchildren, or they just picked out several breeds a piece?

Good night turney

Chick Fever!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!

My legs were killing me after all this walking. I turned in early last night. Now, a note for the table.....

Note #15 - Do you do spring cleaning? And if you do, how crazy do you get with it?

As for me, I get seriously energized with the arrival of spring, but don't often get to drag everything out and really dust and scrub. I tend to do things more "room at a time" and spread it through the year. I sure wish I had time to get everything clean at once.

Well, I used to get in and really clean, one room at a time. But, now that I am older, and not a stay home mom, I just pick at it every once in awhile. This spring, yes, I really am going to clean, really.

me too! really! starting today. I promise!

It's much harder to get motivated when I'm the only one here. I don't have many visitors. But today, I'm gonna do it! Come to think of it, no reason why I couldn't start now. Yup, it's still dark, but there are things I can do. Okay, time to stop procrastinating by typing more. really, it's time. right now. I'm out of things to type, so I really am going.

Oh yea! Good luck Orp! Maybe if you start, I will! But there are sleeping bodies in my house right now. I could start with the dishes.
But I really am going to dust the shelves in my room with all my bunny knick knacks. Today, yes, today, in between playing with new chickies! Maybe I will brush pony today, too.

I try, but now that I work(only part time) and DH works weekends, with three kids in the way it is just too hard. I will clean a room up nice, and then 15 minutes later it looks like I haven't cleaned in a week.
