They had had to stop for a rest, but eventually they made it to the cabin. Jade took him up to the cabin and she unlocked and opened the door. It was a fairly simple cabin, just two bedrooms, the living and kitchen area as one and one bathroom.

Luka smiled as they entered, weary after the journey and weak from being shot. He looked around, admitting “It’s really nice here.”

"Thanks, I really like it" Jade said with a smile. "That's my room, you can rest in there if you need to and I will cook dinner."

Luka nodded, and went into her room, laying against the bed tiredly. He almost growled at himself as he realized what he was doing. Let him rest while she did all the work. He got up and walked back to the kitchen, asking “Do you need help?”

Ara returned the smile, glad it was so easily taken care of. She looked to Maddox again and smiled happily. "Now you and any other fire mages will have a safe place to practice in."

Maddox smiled at her, "Thank you for asking for me. I was always to ashamed to ask, felt like if I did they would know that I barely have a hold on things. In truth I am lucky I haven't burned more then a couch, or sooner then now." He said with a sheepish smile as he sat back down on the bed.

Maximilian smiled at that, letting her finish talking to Ara. He went back to her room, and took a seat on her bed, waiting for her to come in.

Arisala headed back for her room now that things were settled with Ara and Maddox. She was happy they could do more for the girl, and she was happy she had spoken up about Maddox. After his episode this morning it was clear he needed some help. As she opened the door to her room she smiled at Maximilian who was sitting on her bed waiting for her. She came and sat down next to him, leaning into his shoulder and just enjoying his presence and a moment of silence.

(Its evening right? I lost track of what time it is in game. )

Jade chuckled and turned to him when he came back in to see her. "It's alright you go and rest, the meal I am planning isn't hard, it just takes a little time" She said gently. "Help won't speed it up and you are hurt."

Ara smiled back to him again "Why be ashamed to ask for a training room? Even the best warrior needs to practice to keep up his edge, right?" She said, trying to get him to see it in a different way so he wouldn't be ashamed again.
