**The Last Spark** A Magic RP

Luka nodded, reaching for her hand, which was way out of his comfort zone. In front of all these people as well.
Jade looked to him again and smiled softly. He didn't see how simple things like this was being kind to her, but that's how she saw it.

Lincoln rolled his eyes at Timothy's answer, if the man wasn't so effective he would have kicked him out long ago. "Contain your enthusiasm Timothy, I have a job for you. Please come by my office when you have time so I can brief you on the details." He then promptly hung up the phone, he had no desire to hear anything else. He just needed Timothy to come to the office. He detested doing briefings over the phone, he preferred to do them in person so he could better read people.

Timothy hung the phone back on the wall and decided to head to Lincoln's office right now, since he had nothing else worth doing at the moment and was rather bored.

Leaving his stuffy and empty room, Timothy paused for a few moments to recall where Lincoln's office was, since he didn't visit that place too often, and he went on his way.

He walked past dark hall after dark hall, breathing in the musty air that couldn't really do any more damage to his blackened lungs than he had already done.

His cold eyes scanned his surroundings, and the people that quietly passed by without even glancing at him. He knew people had heard bits and pieces of his story, and he supposed that made them not too keen on hanging around him. At least they didn't know everything.

When he arrived at the large wooden door to Lincoln's office, he sighed tiredly and knocked loudly before putting his hands in his pockets as he waited for an answer. His mouth twitched slightly into the form of some sort of wicked smile, but it was quickly erased and he looked normal again as he tapped his fingers on the denim of his jeans.

Iris replied calmly, not showing any fear "I'm a light mage." To prove herself, she became invisible. After letting that sink in for a bit, she returned to normal form, and let Ester reply.

"Hm. Well, I suppose it's safe to say then that I also happen to be a mage." Ester admitted quietly, "An air mage, to be exact. And I would preform some sort of little trick to prove it to you, but at the moment I am too paranoid to do so. Lots of people suspect what goes on in the forest, since it's so secluded, and you never really know who could be watching."

Lincoln arranged his files and information on the shop where Jade hade been taken. When Timothy arrived and knocked on the door he got up and went to the door. He pulled it open and gestured for him to come in and sit down. He then moved around the desk and sat down opening the file he had on Jade and her friend Arabella. "We recently brought in an earth mage by the name of Jade but her friend Arabella is still out there. We were not able to bring her in and I would very much like to try again. We will need to be cautious as she will probably be very nervous since we brought in her friend. I want you to go back to the store where they were found and stake it out. Run surveillance for the next 48 hours. Check in and report every 10 hours, and if you see her do not act, report back for orders. Here is all we have on the two girls and the information on the store where they were last seen. Any questions?" Lincoln stated simply as he slid the folder with the pertinent information across the desk to Timothy. He wasn't fond of the man but he was capable and required little direction.

"We're not dating!" Josiah said. "You know I do recall her wanting to visit the Mage House......." he told Elliot.

Tamara looked over Elliot's shoulder. "Oh hi Josiah." she said.

"Hi." he replied. "Have you seen Eva?"

"No...." Tamara said.
Elliot chuckled and responded "I'm joking. And then she's probably at the mage house."

Jade looked to him again and smiled softly. He didn't see how simple things like this was being kind to her, but that's how she saw it.
Luka walked with her, staying quiet. His room was on the same floor that the food was in, so it wasn't a long walk. He opened the door, waiting for her to enter, then closed it.

"Ok.... so do I just wait for her to get back, or....." Josiah said.

"Well..." Tamara started. "Once you go in if you come out for more than two hours you loose your memory and can't go back."

"So she could either stay there or come back with me?" Josiah asked.

Tamara sighed. "Yeah."

Iris nodded, especially to the last part. She responded "What I did was probably a bit stupid. But some is done I guess." She smiled and said "My name is Iris, and if you want you can come with to my house over here. I'm making oatmeal if that's something you like."

Jade went in and looked around a little before finding a seat and looking to him again.
