"My parent's clothes are still here, put away, if you want to try to see if you can wear some of dad's" Jade said, looking at him. "Besides, we really should look at the wound you got."

Luka responded “That’s fine, I’ll just sleep without my shirt. I can sleep in the other room if you’re not comfortable with that.” He looked down at his shoulder, investigating his wound through the shirt hole.

Ara smiled back to him again "Why be ashamed to ask for a training room? Even the best warrior needs to practice to keep up his edge, right?" She said, trying to get him to see it in a different way so he wouldn't be ashamed again.

Maddox nodded, he knew she was right but she also hadn't burned her family alive. "If I could get rid of these powers I would, sadly there is this no return policy and all." He said turning it into a joke to make it easier to deal with.

Arisala headed back for her room now that things were settled with Ara and Maddox. She was happy they could do more for the girl, and she was happy she had spoken up about Maddox. After his episode this morning it was clear he needed some help. As she opened the door to her room she smiled at Maximilian who was sitting on her bed waiting for her. She came and sat down next to him, leaning into his shoulder and just enjoying his presence and a moment of silence.

Maximilian eventually craned his head, and kissed her neck softly. He whispered “Thank you for everything for all these years here in this house.”

Ara smiled at the joke and reached over for his hand "Don't focus on the bad, try to focus on the good of it. I know it's hard especially without a family to have your back."

Maddox took her hand and was grateful for the friendship. "Yeah its been rough, it gets harder to focus on the good. Thank you, i will try harder not focus so much on the bad. Maybe once I get this place to train it will help my outlook a bit." He replied with a smile and squeeze of her hand. "At least with you as my friend I know I probably won't burn anything else, you can always douse me with water."
