Luka asked in a polite way “What else do you have to do here in the cottage? Any games, TV?”Jade chuckled again then shrugged "I don't know. Maybe?"
"TV is an electricity thing right? I don't have electricity here" Jade said with a shrug. "I have board games and things like that. The ones that haven't gotten ruined by rain."Luka asked in a polite way “What else do you have to do here in the cottage? Any games, TV?”
Luka nodded, responding “Yes, it is an electricity thing. Do you want to play a board game or...” Luka pulled her closer to him as they cuddled, before finishing “Keep on here.”"TV is an electricity thing right? Jade smiled at that and hugged him close "I like what we are doing here and I don't want to get up"Luka nodded, responding “Yes, it is an electricity thing. Do you want to play a board game or...” Luka pulled her closer to him as they cuddled, before finishing “Keep on here.”
Ara chuckled softly again and moved to go to the kitchen with him. She checked the fridge first, because someone else could have made some then set a kettle on to boil some water and went searching cabinets and the pantry for the three things needed, a pitcher, sugar and tea bags. It wouldn't be cold enough, but she could have a soda first then the tea later or tomorrow. "It's simple to make, if you have the tea bags or fresh leaves. Just boil the water, let the tea steep for a while, depending on who you ask it's 30 minutes or an hour, then add the sugar and put it in the fridge to cool off. That's sweet tea, like they make in the South."
Maximilian responded quietly, what about a walk, then a little drink?” He held her hand and pulled her up, twirling her around
"I was born in Texas" Ara said and moved back when the kettle was on to wait for it to boil. "We traveled a lot, but I learned to like sweet tea early on, it's been my favorite forever." She said then looked down, growing sad at the memories again.Maddox listened and watched her go through the process of making her tea and nodded. "Seems simple enough, So are you from the south then or just like their tea?" He asked curiously as he got the popcorn going and fished out some chocolate that was hiding at the back of the pantry.

Ara looked back to him, blinking quickly then standing straighter "I...it's just, well" She stopped and looked down at his hand before taking it. "I miss them so much sometimes, memories are weird, sometimes I can think of the good times and only those and others I can't think of them without getting sad." She said, shaking her head a little.Maddox could see the memories saddened her and he felt bad for having asked. "Hey I am sorry, I didn't mean to bring up memories to make you sad. I was just curious. Well you have this tea to remember it by fondly I hope." He said with a smile as he reached out for her hand. He hadn't meant to make her sad, but he knew how hard it was to remember some of the happy times with family before it all went bad.
Maximilian chuckled as she pulled him for the door;she was something else, that's for sure. He stopped before the door, pulling her into an embrace, before kissing her forehead, then opening the door so they could leave. Once they were out of the house and walking towards the forest, he asked a stupid question for her to get distracted "Do you like hugs or kisses more?"Arisala let him spin her a bit and she smiled at him. "Sounds like a good plan to me, a walk in the woods perhaps? It is lovely this time in the evening, the stars just starting to come out, its perfect." She said with a smile as she headed for the door pulling him eagerly along behind her by the hand.
