She sighed, "I meant the stars, but compliment accepted. I just don't understand how the humans can't share this." She said as she gestured out above her towards the sky. "Its not like we hurt this world, and there is more then enough to share. They would destroy this planet before share it with us." She said sadly.

Ara had to laugh lightly as he turned her around "No, no burns, you held it all in." She said happily.

Maddox let out the breath he had been holding and practically collapsed against the counter. "Good, this is a first for me. Having it come out but not out, you know what I mean?" He replied as he looked up at her, suddenly more tired then he realized before.

"I'm glad I could see that then, if it's a first." Ara said then tilted her head "You look tired now" She said, turning to take care of the tea and put it in the fridge. "How about we take our snacks and settle in for this movie, forget the past, forget the future."

Maximilian didn’t answer immediately. She was right. He replied thoughtfully afterwards some pondering had occurred “It’s envy, that’s why. They envy our power, and what to rid us so that everyone can feel equal again. And I understand that’s wrong, but that’s the answer to your question.” He looked over to touch her cheek softly to comofort her.

Maddox nodded grateful that he had a new friend in her. "that sounds really nice right about now. I will grab the popcorn and chocolate, will you reach in the fridge and grab the sodas? Grab me a root beer please." He said with a small smile as he grabbed the snacks and waited for her at the stairs.
