Arisala headed down the stairs to the basement, all the lights were on which was unusual. But if he was hiding not so much, being a light mage he could use the light to become invisible. She looked around the room as she neared the end of the stairs. She tried to use her power to feel for his life force to see if she could tell where he was before he managed to jump out at her. She wouldn't be quite fast enough though.

LIlith had taken notice that Maddox had met another girl, and was curious to find out who it was, as was her nature. She left her book in the living room, and followed him outside, stopping him to ask "Where have you been all this time?"

Maddox looked back at Lilith with a smile. "Hey, I was just out with Max and Ara trying to help her find her friend. She only just got here last night so you might not have met her yet." He replied as he moved to sit down. "Want to join me, I am just going to be sitting out here waiting for Elena to get back from whatever adventure she is on now."

Maximilian slowly moved away from her, hoping that would result in Ari not finding him. Oh, who cared. Maximilian couldn't bear seeing that woman any longer and not being able to do something. He slowly became visible again, right in front of her, and whispered "I give up. You win.", before reaching to cup her face and kiss her on the stairs they were standing on.

Maddox looked back at Lilith with a smile. "Hey, I was just out with Max and Ara trying to help her find her friend. She only just got here last night so you might not have met her yet." He replied as he moved to sit down. "Want to join me, I am just going to be sitting out here waiting for Elena to get back from whatever adventure she is on now."

Lilith nodded. She sat down beside him, folding her legs in an elegant manner, one that didn't seem to fit the aura of the house. She looked up at him, before asking delicately "Are your powers giving you less trouble?", not attempting to hurt his feelings. She was genuinely interested for once.

Maximilian slowly moved away from her, hoping that would result in Ari not finding him. Oh, who cared. Maximilian couldn't bear seeing that woman any longer and not being able to do something. He slowly became visible again, right in front of her, and whispered "I give up. You win.", before reaching to cup her face and kiss her on the stairs they were standing on.

Arisala squealed a bit in excitement as he coalesced in front of her but when he moved to kiss her she was not complaining. She kissed him happily and wrapped her arms around his waist. When she pulled back she smiled up at him. "I am glad your back, I saw Ara on my way down she looked a touch upset. I wish things had gone better but at least we know she is alive. Although how she escaped is beyond me, I have never heard of a mage escaping the government like that." She mused, trying to remember the last instance she had heard of that happening.

Lilith nodded. She sat down beside him, folding her legs in an elegant manner, one that didn't seem to fit the aura of the house. She looked up at him, before asking delicately "Are your powers giving you less trouble?", not attempting to hurt his feelings. She was genuinely interested for once.

Maddox looked over at Lilith remembering her trying to help him when he had burned the couch. He nodded, "Yeah they are doing a bit better. Ara came up with an idea to have Elena build me a dome to practice in out of the earth, that way I won't be so out of control. Thats why I am waiting for her. And thank you for asking." He replied with a kind smile, touched that she cared enough to ask.
