Dasha, Shadow, and Alana ran after them, Shadow and Dasha carrying Shade on their backs. Alana was freezing the doors shut along the corridor.

Sheila used Faedon's power to nudge Greta telepathically. We got Kristina, tell Tulane, Suzie and Nikki to come to the entrance to the prison

Greta turned to Tulane and Suzie, "they got her, Sheila wants us at the entrance to the prison." Most of the guards were dead or unconscious, and the few that still remained, Nikki was fighting off.

"Right," Tulane said. "Suzie!" She flew onto his back, wrapping her claws in his mane. He galloped to the entrance of the prison. "What now?" Suzie asked. "We wait for them, I guess," Tulane said.

Sheila and her team, along with Kristina, came running out of the prison. Willow swiped her wing against the ground as she saw a bunch of guards approaching them, creating a massive gust of wind that toppled them over. Greta struck them with a huge bolt of lightning before Sheila and Kristina ran out the exit, motioning for everyone else to follow.

"Knock the doorway down!" Alana yelled as she left the prison. Tulane reared and slammed his front feet into the door frame. It shook, then collapsed, filling the exit with rubble.

A bunch of guards who were trying to chase them were crushed and killed by the rubble and debris. Sheila and Kristina flew above the trees while the rest of her team ran along the ground.

Alana took off, soaring next to Sheila and Kristina.

They arrived at the cave a few hours later. Kenny began healing the old guardian's wounds, much to Kristina's protest

Suzie flew off of Tulane's back. Dasha and Shadow flopped onto the ground, stretching out on their sides. They had dumped the still bound and unconscious Shade in the back of the cave.

Autumn and Haylei rolled a large boulder to the back to prevent Shade from escaping. "We'll figure out what we'll do with her later," Sheila told them as she lay down to rest, folding her wings.
