The little emu who could. Video added!

I came home today and found this. While this may work for the big one it is hardly the life for an emu. So we decided to go out and explore.

We decided to bring the baby goats and emu together for playtime on the deck.

The baby emu thought Thelma might be his Mom. Thelma didn't know what to think.

Louise decided to head butt the baby emu, a move she most likely will regret in a few months.

The baby emu couldn't get up the step.

Louise attempted to help before I intervened.

Mostly they just ran and played.

The baby emu almost kept up with the big girls today.

Then she had a ridiculous tantrum when playtime was over and she had to come back inside. Video to follow.

She does not have a name yet. Husband didn't like the one I chose so he is mulling over an alternative. You can see he is a little laid back. I told him I don't want to still be calling it "baby" when it is taller than I am!
