Well, the Kentucky Speck chick that I hatched out that turned out to be a Silkie is still alive. It hatched on Monday. So, I guess it is gonna live. I just wish one of the other chicks would have hatched so this one had a buddy. But this little buff Silkie seems to be getting along just fine as an only child. its mother (The feather duster) does not complain much anyway.

I love that color of the chick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of a peice of butterscotch candy that is moving!
